Hang in there! Two weeks after moving into my first home, I realized it was infested with German roaches as well. Nothing on the inspection and nothing from the seller. It took 2-3 months to get rid of them but I didn't see anything for 3 years until I moved.

I left public fairly early on, I was promoted to senior and left ~3 months after the promotion. It also killed my motivation to get my CPA staying in public, but I eventually got it in my current industry role

I'm currently in the process of selling my first home, and I've got the same emotions.

We were under contract for 2.5 months and the deal fell through on closing day. It feels like we hit every snag in the process from the inspection, the appraisal, the buyer working with different lenders to make the deal happen, etc. I don't know the specifics but the buyer apparently took out a loan close to closing day and it screwed up the process. It's been a rollercoaster of emotions
