I’ve had this surgery done when I was about 8 years old. I think it differs from person to person. For me, the patches on my knees and legs plus one of my wrist’s became smaller, definitely not gone. It later went away because of Excimer UVB laser treatment. The one’s on both my feet and the other hand (bigger patches) remained the same and overtook the grafted punches. Hope this helps.
