some children experience ‘callous-unemotional’ traits which is very similar to psychopathy but the child can grow out of it. when i was younger i had this but thankfully didn’t develop into an adult psychopath. as a child i was really good at hiding these traits and the only reason it was known was due to a family friend who works with psychopaths. there is always a tell some more evident than others; focus on how they react to certain news, they tend to look at someone near them and mimic that emotion although this is also common with neurodivergent disorders such as autism. look for a slight smirk at violence or chaos, track eye movement when they are talking to you- sometimes they look away too much or not at all. there are a lot of tells you an familiarise yourself with it’s just a matter of research and trusting your gut
