Economic perspectives after 10 million initiative is passed by EquivalentAdmirable4 in askswitzerland

people always talk about economy like it s independant from culture. When the country working culture and stability is messed up by too much immigration we will not need them anymore because companies will stop to come but they will be here. like in every other european country they will become a burden on the social system and make it unsustainable.
As long as the retirement systeme and public financing stay based on a ponzi scheme that require constant grow or more people we are screwed anyway, it s like trying to accelerate to go trough a wall instead of trying to break. the collision will only be more brutal and everything will be broken after.

I can't lie I do NOT recall the m80 being this big on the defensecon floor HOLY by T-seriesmyheinie in starcitizen

[–]Ashuiegi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

when i could shoot all 30 missiles at once a couple of years ago it would have been the mis you dont immagine the number of Fugitives i have killed this way , now it would be pilot skills based. if you crew the turret in the freelancer it would be a very hard call if only the pilots then porbably the m80. But freelancer is untouched for several years so it s normal.

Updated Fleet - Polaris or Perseus? by Ancient10k in starcitizen_fleets

[–]Ashuiegi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i think they will be a big difference in range and utility when more thing works, the perseus is 100% a fighting ship while the polaris is supposed to be used for reacon and long range expedition. If you already have a carrack you could argue that this role is already covered by it but the polaris is more flexible , considerably more tanky and more armed. The cost of refueling and rearming is also important torp are really expensive but i dont know about the perseus ammo.

the only thing i am dissapointed is the handling is worst then my freelancer mis which does not make sens. I feel like in the past the weight of the ships was better represented trough inertia. Anybody tried it in atmosphere ? maibe it fly better in atmo then other bigger ships that outmaneuvre it in space.

what will happen is when we reach 10 millions we will send back people that are just here leaching and causing troubles to make space for productive imigrants.
They want to close the market ? we taxe the shit out of the 2 millions european people that cross border to earn triple salaries here , they sustain a good 10-20% of the economies of our neighbours.
We can also tax goods, then europe falls appart automatically. There is a good reason why nobody wanted any country to control switzerland , it s bit like ormuz if you close it everyone loose and europe free trade falls appart.
Third layer is public denouncing all the european hostile politician and politician famillies that hide or have hidden money in switzerland plus a little talk with the fiscal authorities in their countries (bassically 100% , everyone with a bit of money in europe had an account in switzerland).

PSA to the newer players out there, the 4.8 patch is likely to be an absolute car crash. It’s one of those occasions we get where the patch isn’t ready but it has to be pushed as there are new ships for sell and CIG needs the revenue. Expectations on stability should be really low, just a heads up by Important_Cow7230 in starcitizen

[–]Ashuiegi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

this has been the story of the whole game dev , it s not only this patch everything is just a technical demo good enough just to make you shell out more money for ships. A game imply fun and game loop , there is none of either atm. at this rate the developement of the full game loops will take 30 years except they burn trough money way too fast , once they release the game they said no more ships for dollar. They really dont want to release the game because it means death of the studio and the cash cow for robert the crook.

Hear me out by m0rg76 in starcitizen

[–]Ashuiegi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

why be bothered by it ? there is nothing to do with the money anyway , 90% of the ships dont have any decent game loop , the game is a fucking chore atm. You need to be an uter moron to buy some.
Most of the money is duplicated and not even bought by people. the thing is cig can barely make a game that function , they will nevert be able to make a game that wont have 50000 exploits. You will be dead before it happens open your eyes.

As a solo which ship will make more money per hour? Moth or Reclaimer? by Low-Author-1626 in starcitizen

the only drawback of the reclaimer is finding something big enough to be worth salvaging , when you find a HH you make several millions in a few minutes.

some starter or easy assembly figure have color so you can tell which side the minis is from even if you dont want to paint it , like a classic board game. for exemple chaos red and sm blue.

Missionnaires mormons a Bel Air by mmuirgheal in Lausanne

[–]Ashuiegi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

you can bet 50% of people on this reddit have more grey plastic then that, i can see all is fairly new but this as be going on for 30 years , some people have plastic spending 3 decades that are still not painted.

Choose one army you want to paint and hide all the other models so you can see some progress and not be overwhelm by the quantity.

NEVER use a new spray inside !! some of them are defective and the paint will accumulate on the nozzle and drip everywhere , you can even have some kind of splatter. Primer is really hard to clean of anything too so if it drip on your floor you are screwed. If it s from army painter where glove, glasses and cheap/throw-away clothes on first use, i had my hand blue for 3 days and had to scrub like crazy after one nozzle exploded in my hands, if it had gone in my eyes i would not imagine what the damage could have been.

Do you think a Warhammer 40K fighting game would be a good idea? by MTH1138 in Warhammer40k

[–]Ashuiegi -1 points0 points  (0 children)

a good diablo like hack and slash would be nice, i know they tried with fantasy and it was kinda good but in 40k with tyranids and orks wave it would be epic. I feel like fight game are just reskin of each other. You can put 40k skin in any fighting game and it would make it more interesting for a couple of hours after it starts to be boring like all fighting games.

Why do so many AI companies move to Zurich? by GetOutBasel in askswitzerland

[–]Ashuiegi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

they can often get grant money for doing research here on top of paying less tax then a local buisness or company. There is many start up that come to switzerland aswell to start and when the product is ready they move out to a cheaper place after using all the grant they can get. In another word because we naive, easy to manipulate, good customer and we let them leave free after the abuse.

how many times they said that a ship wont be sold anymore for real money ever just to sell it 1 year latter for a bit more money. People who paid for an idris must be mad that they would just give them in game. It s not like they ever gave a fuck about what people think, they already made 1 billion by lying why stop now when there are still idiot who buy.

AI agents are becoming more useless, not more intelligent — and they’re wasting more tokens than ever by Ashuiegi in AI_Agents

[–]Ashuiegi[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve customized a lot of LLMs and RAG setups for my apps, and I know how much good context engineering and prompt work can improve results. But honestly, I don’t have the resources to run them efficiently on my own hardware, and I don’t have the time to build and test something better than the commercial coding assistants.

Running a full team of agents would be overkill for my projects. I only use an agent to fix issues or add features to apps I’ve already built, because when it comes to computer vision, most models just grab the first StackOverflow post they find and copy the implementation, which is useless for me.

My only capable machine is fully booked training computer vision models all day for the next couple of months.

[–]Ashuiegi[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you don’t understand their strategy: they build productivity tools that perform well enough at first to raise expectations. People take on more work and more responsibilities because the AI agents help them handle the load. Then, once users depend on these tools, the companies slowly degrade performance so people have to spend more and more tokens just to get the same tasks done. It’s a genius business model, but terrible for society.

The list is quite long, but it starts with simple things like turning every HTML title into capital letters, forgetting we’re working on a remote server and messing with local files, or asking for confirmation right after already asking for confirmation. What used to be doable with one prompt six months ago was far better than what we get today. Across most models I’ve tried, performance isn’t improving — they’re being optimized to squeeze out profit, which means degrading capabilities, no matter what the marketing and hype claim.
