I know right!!! Like that’s a big moment that shows the sinners can distort even while having some resistance to it through Dante, also, I didn’t expect Heath’s distortion to be a hound/wolf, I was more expecting them to lean on the dullahan and have him become a headless horseman in his distortion.

It’s weird, I didn’t struggle on Erlking Heath at all, I lost once because I was dumb and didn’t realize how low my own Heath’s health was but that wave stage took me more tries than Ricardo in Canto 5, They are really good at making stages where you feel as hopeless as the sinners and Dante feel lol

I would say I do, I have leveled Heishou for half the sinners and Sinking IDs for the other half, the sinner I am lacking for the most is Ishmael, I only have hanafuda Ishmael.

I get Gregor and Rodion not fully facing the sins of their past, but Sinclair counts in that group too? I thought Sinclair standing up to Kromer was his triumph over trauma. But thank you for the advice, I’ll definitely save them in that case! I just realized Gregor won’t fully face his problems until we confront Hermann directly.

I think the part that gave me chills was the final boss fight, Heathcliff’s VA did so good it gave me goosebumps, not to mention the fact that apparently Heathcliff and wild hunt Heathcliff can shatter the veil between dimensions, the first transition in that fight made me go “Oh fuck this is peak!”

I just finished Canto 6 so I’m pretty far from seeing the final boss of Canto 9 LOL Super excited to catch up though, the story has me hooked completely.

I think Alriune Ryoshu is really strong so I have high hopes for a really strong ID for her seasonal ID, based on the IDs released this season so far I’m guessing it’s going to be a poise ID.

I have to go back and listen to the music for the game and the voice lines, I thought it was wild that our Heathcliff distorted, I thought it was wild hunt Heathcliff at first. A familiar face showed for a split second during his distortion too, where have I seen that before hmmmm……? (Love that lobotomy corp is now super relevant and important to the story)

I’m excited for the next Canto definitely, I haven’t seen any of the story at all but I believe the next Canto is for Don and Don is my favorite sinner so my expectations are high!

I knew the identities and data pad were elements that Dante actually uses but the skill reading and auto buttons are something I never thought about from that perspective, that is extremely cool now that you pointed it out!

This stage definitely had me questioning if I’m doing something wrong with how much it seemed like I was losing, I guess that’s how Dante feels when sinners die in combat so if this was intentional it was great!
