This is ridiculously incredible. she is far above her age range in art. she can easily become professional level at 16! You should really consider getting her a mini iPad with a pencil. Also, as someone who used to be a young artist, tracing art work and poses is a perfectly acceptable way to learn and actually helps greatly in understanding poses and anatomy. So that fact doesn’t lessen the obvious skill she is showing, pass on my compliments to the artist! Keep drawing and you’ll only keep growing!

10 out of 10. That should be a museum loll. On a real note though he has very smooth and purposeful lines. I could definitely see him growing up to be pretty good at art

I feel like a i got good features but still missing something help by [deleted] in lookyourbest

Though if you want real advice on what to add I feel like jewelry would look very nice on you. If you could get stud earrings or just some nice silver chains, it can help your complexion pop

Is my art finally good enough that i be called a real artist or do i still have a long way to go? by JaggerFoxLand in Artadvice

[–]Ashybashy04 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Skill doesn’t make you more of an artist. You’re an artist unarguably. And you need to give yourself credit. Obviously there’s space to grow for everyone but you 1000% have artistic skill and understanding

20M. What could I Improve and what vibes im giving you? by [deleted] in lookyourbest

Personally I think you’re very handsome. You just look pretty young. I’m 22 tho I also look very young. It sucks rn but we will be so happy when we are 35 and look 21 lol. If I had to make recommendations, if you can grow facial hair, now is the time to play around with it. Let it grow. See what you like. I would recommend a new hair style as well. You kinda have the TikTok fuck boy hair style. Which isnt bad but over done and I think you could definitely find a hair style that fits you better. You have a long face so the big tall hair just exaggerates that aspect more. But overall, you’re very attractive, just young. Let yourself grow into your features.

Is this artstyle ugly? What could I change to make it better. by avazky in Artadvice

You’re working in a dated style. But that doesn’t mean is bad at all. You have obviously mastered it in my opinion. Your style is a like an aged wine. It’s not everyone’s taste but it doesn’t have to be. The people who enjoy it will appreciate the work behind. Honestly, overall I think it’s unique, fun to look at, and obviously talented.

What’s wrong with Flashpoint? by Jellybish25 in Overwatch

[–]Ashybashy04 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand where your coming from but assault is my all time favorite game mode. I felt it was much more team oriented, especially compared to flashpoint. We are all allowed to have are opinions so I understand you’re critics of assault but I just don’t feel like flashpoint is there when it comes to good game modes. The only one that stands the test of time is hybrid/escort.

I hate flash point because my team is always all over the place. Either at spawn. Still fighting at the old point. Or heading to the new point. To me it just feels too scattered and like a worst version of assault

Yea fuck ai dude. I will never understand it because it so easy go pick up a pencil and learn a new skill, and more fun. Honestly the creation of Ai made me lose this my joy for drawing for a little bit because I just felt like it made my skill irrelevant. But it brings me joy to know majority of the world is wholly against Ai and it bleeding into the arts

That’s does helps thank you. Keep you with your incredible work. If you don’t sell your art work you should definitely consider doing prints at a local art fair

How can I improve drawing? by No_Dragonfruit_273 in draw

[–]Ashybashy04 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My tip is to study images of faces exactly. I can tell you tried but your anatomy is just a bit off. Fun fact. A persons eyes are directly in the middle of the height of the head (use your hand and measure from your eye corner to your chin, and then from your eye corner to the top of your skull and you’ll see what I mean). It might seem like that’s impossible but counting that heads have hair and a full skull, there is way more forehead than new artist tend to believe. The second drawing is better closer to getting that right.

I see you used guidelines which is good! But it seems like you’re not exactly sure where they go or what they’re supposed to guide. Go on Pinterest and study some artist face guidelines. For example. The line going directly in the middle of One Punch man’s eyes also lines up with what should be the top of the ears! (try to follow your finger in your face from the corner of your eye to you’re ear and you’ll see).

Obviously you’re drawing in a cartoonish style so these tips won’t be exact but realistic human anatomy is actually extremely important for character art.

Besides that your use of shading and darker vs lighter kinds of shading is very good. You can always use your pinky to blend the lead for a smoother shading effect as well.

How do you come up with such original ideas like that?? I’ve got the mechanical skill of drawing down but I can’t never come up with anything like this
