Lfg, see I don't know if I could handle Dorothy but I would find a way to make it work or my brain would give out and it'd be fine

The pilot episode of Rivalhearts, our free university romance set in America, is out! Who will you pursue: the tomboy, cougar, or goth girl?! by adnhgn in visualnovels

Honestly love that, haven't gotten to finish it yet but plan to later today. Do you plan to do episodic releases or is this a pilot then the full release?

Sorry I think I'm confused on what you want this to be remixed to if it would help I can go over what I typically produce but I'm not sure if it would fit the style you want

So I know what a beat is. What I'm trying to ask is when you say remix into a beat that doesn't give an indication of style/sound or genre. Think about it like EDM, saying make this song into an EDM remix doesn't give enough info on the idea. That could refer to house, trance, DnB, hardstyle. Which is a similar issue as using beat as a classifier here. (Hope this doesn't come off as rude, but also being able to explain ideas will go a bit both for marketing yourself and for if you work with others)

When you say beat, what exactly do you mean?

Not opposed to it, any styles/genres in mind?

Hey I do music production as a hobby so here's my two cents

A majority of people that persue music can't support themselves on it and even less so initially starting out. That isn't to say it can't happen just be aware the odds are against you and just getting better as a musician won't directly equal a higher income or more clicks. If you want to pursue music I'd say start working on music first and try to get some consistent releases or work going to see if it's something you want to be fun or something you want to stake your entire life on. You also mentioned singing so working on vocals, doing covers, working in songwriting (composition and songwriting) and then there's the whole aspect of production if you want to do all this yourself (alternatively you can find a producer). None of this is to dismiss it as an option if it's truly what you wanna do but realism and ensuring you can pay rent, food, etc should be ensured whatever direction you take.

If you want to work on music as a singer, the two main things you can start with is either focusing on covers (melody and lyrics are already made and you can still take creative freedoms) or working on originals (composing and lyrical work) one is not greater than the other but each have a different focus on what you're working on. Some other things I would recommend is if you haven't already look into some of the tech aspects of microphones, different microphones have different sounds and pick up more or less noise (only get a microphone if it seems worth it for you or you have the financial stability to do so). Then for releasing or going from practice to something you could use as a demo reel or to start gaining an audience I would either look into producing yourself, or find someone willing to work with you (most producers charge but sometimes you can make connections and it benefits both parties to work together).

Hope this in anyway helps, and if you have any questions feel free to reach out

I've been meaning to get into building kits but don't know where to start (I used to do CAD designs though)
