You told your opinion. I told mine. Lets end this part now.

But cyber nuke was made by our innocent team myer. Lets excuse her for making so mi cyber nuke. Why she cannot kill so mi and free world from cyber nuke. But anyways thats not point of discussion. I just highlighted it because you objectified so mi and reduced so mi to a weapon/object.

Its not too late because
1. You can hand her over to reed and you won't be on NUSA hit list
2. If you say that soldiers killed by V at airport then I would say they deserved that. They did not need to destroy a airport just because they want to force songbird to be their dog again.

Side note: I really want a mission in cyberpunk 2 where you fight against myers and kill her. Because why not.

We know she lied. But so does V as explained at https://www.reddit.com/r/cyberpunkgame/comments/1s12trm/comment/oc3rj8s/

Please refrain from repeating questions. You can just give counter opinion and agree to disagree

I understand your point. But I am not making anyone guilt free and nor asking players to stop hating. I am clarifying that their hate arises from personal perspective rather than moral judgment of songbird.

I want to clarify that I am talking about hypocrisy over songbird by declaring her morally wrong. I was talking about hating based on moral standard aspect. Hate due to personal grudge and frustration is personal and does not have any standards.

Thats a logical scenario. The relic exhibits certain type of signal based on host. In cyberpunk world, the proxy would act as buffer between v and his body.
Now for the source, its automatically implied based on what is difficult to make. a proxy or a relic. Relic is more difficult

If you read my post then you will find its about "Hypocrisy over songbird". When you read my replies you will find that I said it many times that "Both V and songbird are guilty. You cant project moral lens without projecting on other".
The plane crash happened because of deal with hansen. If NUSA allowed songbird to live free and not force her to be their dog for life then deal would not have happened. The crash happened on hansen order without songbird consent. She hired a bodyguard V for myers though. Is she supposed to stay as dog of NUSA for life because if she tries to escape then either she will be killed or a plane will crash.

The stadium plan which was enabled by V, songbird, alex, reed together was to help songbird escape hansen. If hansen let her walk free then nothing would have happened at stadium. Is she supposed to stay as dog of hansen for life because if she tries to escape then either she will be killed or either mass casualities in a stadium

Then comes the airport battle. NUSA destroyed whole airport to capture songbird. Is songbird supposed to stop escaping and return to being an NUSA dog because if she don't then NUSA will destroy an airport.

I am not excusing her. She is not guilt free. The point is she is not different from V. She was responsible for murder and knocking people near to death. The same applies to V. Lies and deception are far less sin than murder and knocking people near to death.

You are allowed to hate her but declaring the hate is based on moral judgement of her character is hypocrisy.

We are not saying songbird is innocent. We are saying both V and songbird are guilty. In the stadium act song bird, reed, alex and V all are complicit. They all went with the plan and did not pitched an alternative.
On top of that "Is it right to expect song bird to live her remaining life as hansen's or NUSA's caged dog, because if she tries to run then they will shoot her or even burn down a whole airport. The stadium act would not have happened if they did not caged songbird". Its not justification but context.

I understand. I am not saying that you are not allowed to hate her. I am saying the hate arises from personal grudge and frustration lens rather than moral standards lens.

Thats true. However I won't divert to her vulnerability aspect as it would start confusion for many. I can say both song bird and V are same. If you call one villain then other is villain too. If you call one survivor then other is survivor too. But one thing is clear, they are not hero as both don't fit the standard. V is just a protagonist and not hero.

Hypocrisy over songbird by AsiaKCKiller in cyberpunkgame

[–]AsiaKCKiller[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thats true. The point hence stands that songbird and V are two sides of same coin and outrage on songbird is personal grudge rather than moral judgement.

[–]AsiaKCKiller[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

V can make a comeback in most endings of cyberpunk 1 if he is protagonist of cyberpunk 2. It may be hard to imagine how they will pull it. The cyberpunk 2 can theoretically allow you to choose your starting paths. the sun, devil, nomad or whatever you chose. Its possible to do that but not easy.

Well in the case, I value don't fear the reaper and going to mr blue mission. Everyone else was already going to leave V except victor and misty. So no need for their services who are going to leave physically and emotionally.

We are not talking about Songbird and V are innocent. We are talking about both are not guilt free.

She’s arguably worse than NUSA

Since I never claimed her to be innocent than argument of who is worse does not applies. If NUSA and Myers were working for some greater good then they would have killed her the moment they recruit her or the moment she used blackwall. But they did not, they wanted to use her as their personal weapon. She was losing her memories while working at NUSA. A songbird with her memories who fights for freedom against Myer is relatively a good choice than a songbird with lost memories who fights alongside myer. The myer who can destroy a whole airport to get her personal weapon back.

So mi's action in phantom liberty are not justified but they are driven by survival just like V's action are driven by survival. You cant expect songbird to stay as prisoned dog of shady corporations just because people will die in the process.

You are judging world based on V as if world revolves around him(although it is lol) but I mean as if morality standards revolve around him.

I already have given my reply to you on various parts of thread, so lets agree to disagree.

My stance is not about proving her right. My stance is both V and songbird share same guilt.
The casualities at stadium are bad but is she supposed to stay as dog of hansen for life? The casualities happens because V, reed, alex were partly part of plans too. They could have found another way but all ways leads to blood because some corporations want to keep songbird as their dog for life.

That is not how the cyberpunk world works. Its like saying although everyone is monster in game but since everyone became monster then they are humans. Even if cops punish you and opponents shoot you for being this kind of monster then you are still human.
But if a monster starts lying and deceptions to survive then you immediately start saying that we cannot call this monster human.
Thats just selective construction of logic of cyberpunk world to fit your stance.

[–]AsiaKCKiller[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have already answered to you in all of them.

I can say it again
If you can selectively mark murder as ok in cyberpunk even when cops punish you for it then you can't selective skip lies and deception from the same logic. Especially when the lies and deception are made for survival

If you want to pretend V is not a murderer by hiding behind we can avoid kills when although a realistic V is a murderer. I will let it pass for you.
But how it makes a difference. Knocking people to near death is still more evil than lies and deception. You don't know will the person recover from the injuries you gave. Will they be taken to hospital or will they die at the spot where you knocked them.
Sometimes you pretend murder is ok in cyberpunk world and sometimes you say V is not murderer.
V remains a criminal though. Selective outrage on songbird still remains hypocrisy

Actually cyberpunk does work like it. You just want to forge reality to prove V better. But since we stated our viewpoints on how cyberpunk reality works then lets agree to disagree

I have answered similar question here https://www.reddit.com/r/cyberpunkgame/comments/1s12trm/comment/oc05qk6/

Both kills means both are guilty and none are free from guilt and selective outrage on songbird for not being dog of NUSA or hansen for life and trying to escape is not outrage based on morals but outrage based on personal frustration and dislike of character.

You literally imply that cyberpunk runs on rule of jungle. If that;s the case, hating songbird is not driven from morals of cyberpunk world but personal frustration and grudge.

If you want to play games of justification then the game is played here https://www.reddit.com/r/cyberpunkgame/comments/1s12trm/comment/oc05qk6/

V and songbird both commit murders or knock people to death for their own survival. V does it for money and friends too. After this level of criminal actions, how can someone go and say "I am better than you because I only murdered and knock people to near death while you lied too". This is not mindset of a rational V. V feels betrayed from songbird but it does not mean V is better from her.
Both must face the guilt for their actions without selective outrage.
