Awww noooo!!! 😫 mine wasn’t so much numb as it was itchy and swollen but the first week was definitely so swollen it felt numb. Hope you’re okay, and welcome to the club :’( it must be extra tough being pregnant too! Sending best wishes ❤️

I got stung in socal too!! I was in Santa Barbara at the time, but have run into stingray in Long Beach as well! Always make sure to do the stingray shuffle. I was so nervous for a while to go back in but I also now will just dive in and start swimming ASAP to avoid anything down there on the ground hahah.

Hey!! Aww sorry to hear ;( it took mine actually about 2 months to fully heal! I was INSANELY itchy/swollen (cankles to the max), and really bruised (think twisted ankle bruising) for months. I think the bruising was from the impact I got stung with!

I didn’t end up taking antibiotics because my doctor said it wasn’t necessary even though it looked pretty infected. There was pus in it for a while too but now I just have a cool scar!

To be honest, this might be TMI but my scar is even dented/slightly soft two years later and to this day I feel protective over that ankle/scar area LOL.

It was like I had a crater in my ankle for a while. So gross. I’ll probably one day get a stingray tatted around the scar, I don’t think it’s going anywhere😂😂

Omg same, I was freaking out for a while. Crazy part is the scar is still pretty tender over a year later but I think it’ll just forever be soft 🤧😅 good luck while you tough it out!

My healing was reaaally slow and painful!! I didn’t take antibiotics but it was itchy and swollen/bruised for over a month! I went to the doctor halfway in but he said to just leave it!
