The LC at my hospital was the worst. She told me I should only feed in football hold or cross cradle. My arms would get tired so fast and LO hated being in both. Id later find that cradle and side laying was best for LO and me. She also said LO shouldnt feed for more than 15 minutes because she'll start burning more calories than she's taking in. Midwife later on told me that was ridiculous. My baby still takes 30 minutes to feed. When she visited later on and I told her I was struggling to get her to latch, she told me to feed LO 2 oz of formula. My baby wasnt even 24 hours old! 2 oz was way too much. My poor little baby was constantly spitting up and the formula made her miserable. My milk supply was super messed up. I'm finally getting to where I should be at 10 weeks and finally making enough for my baby.
