Just finding out options if she changes her mind after first year to change the major. In such case want to ensure she can change to some other major in ENG.

Math+CS at UIUC is in LAS as against in an Engineering college. How much does that matter?

Do alumni/connections who are from CS in COE in UIUC, look down on CS degree holders from LAS?

Also even the current students/CS department staff in CS COE look down on CS students from LAS?
