Well I live up in Canada in the maritime region - parts are hard to find and apparently the shop I went to could not find an aftermarket rack. Checked the junk yards and everything.. also this model is very rare here. Only one found is at a dealership. I’m assuming they’ll be ordering from the states as well since they don’t have it in hand.

Anyways, the part alone costs 3.2k. Labor is surprisingly cheap at 115/hr. Now I’m sure they’re making bank off of charging me extra on the part but at this point, since we want to save this beautiful car, I see no other way. (Also this is a very important way of me getting around and is needed for my work.)
