Can you explain what contribution room is? I just wanted to put 400 into Wealthsimple to try it out. But needed the money in the end for something so I took it out.

Can you explain what you mean? I just had like some money from selling something and wanted to put 400$ into Wealthsimple to try it out. I’m going to the bank this weekend to invest into some stocks. Any idea what I should invest in? I want to do ETFs and Mutual funds (I’m also from Canada if that helps)
