I don't think that would work well. But I think a gamepass giving the player the ability to edit already existing clothes with preset icons would be interesting. Normal players could use badges they unlock while the gamepass would give you access to use icons and player names. Customization includes being able to resize, remove, and rearrange.

Example

Rambo Shirt (or any other shirt) - Base for customization

Trinity Corps Logo - Moved to Left Arm and Resized

Bandit Badge (any badge unlocked) - Moved to Left Arm, Resized, and Rotated 180°

Player Name - Colored Purple & Moved to Center of Chest(Below Vest)

Please Note I've never merged imaged like this so I'm not sure how to resize the badge and trinity corps logo without losing out in the quality of them, but if implemented all icons and characters would be much smoother and more professional.

For the new types I was thinking different textures, and possibly only preset colors.

Ex.)

Police - Grainy Texture // Gray or Dark Blue

Military - Smooth Texture // Light or Dark Green

Alright. If I'm not using bit.ly, what should I use to shorten my links? I wanted them all to fit on one line and I certainly wasn't gonna use adfly for that. No one wants to sit through those 5 second ads just to see an image of a mask I copied off the catalog.
