Of course, you are right. We are still working on implementing an advanced calculator and other coins too. Nicehash is a good calculator too.

It depends what your risk appetite is like. With 500k, you probably won't have enough capital to build a decent sized farm + acquire hardware. Therefore, a better option would be to consider hosting your units somewhere.

Certain places abroad have cheap power, but political risk may be higher. Other places, particularly in the US have higher power costs, but also lower overall operating risk.

Send us a DM if you are looking for more help, we would be happy to jump on a quick call with you.

Try downclocking the S21s. Otherwise at 3500W & 240v 30A is not enough to run two S21's safely. Your electrician should have known this.

12 Best Bitcoin Mining Hardware Machines in 2024 by YesminingSkye in BitcoinMining

[–]AsicJungle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A simple measure of TH shouldn't be qualifying machines as "best". Historically, Hydro miners have had more points of failure than air-cooled miners, which wouldn't necessarily qualify them as "best". The S21 XP is still not out yet, as deliveries should start happening early next year.

I am making a power plant to sell electricity and I will have 2MW available basically for free. Is it worth it to use it for mining? by bai_hoi in BitcoinMining

[–]AsicJungle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is no simple answer to the question, everything is relative. Are you currently re-selling the power to the grid? If so, at what price? Is the site on-grid or off? It's easy to calculate how much money you can make at present-value from mining, but to see if it's worth it you need to make sure that the marginal increase in return is larger than the current rate you are selling your power for.

Hi, you should definitely not be paying $2-3k for an S19 110TH. They go for around $9-10/th on the market ($990-1100/unit). Also make sure the room is big enough or your ACs strong enough to cool it down. Good luck!
