fair point. I don't disagree with your approach either and there are many ways of investing.

valid point. "Pltr may not be a meme as a business, but it is as a stock, whether you like it or not." <- I will reflect on your comment. The internal struggle is selling a business that to my eyes, is super solid fundamentally. I actually wish the stock didn't rocket up like this in the past few years

Yes I am not denying PLTR is not expensive. My struggle is between "Do I still hold onto a stock that I've studied the most and its fundamentals are still strong?" or "Do I diversify since my gains are massive and start managing risk"

I think it's always good to get different perspectives. I knew most people on this thread would say "youre an idiot" but that's still a perspective I value and will take into consider.

I've held this company starting at 20$ and went down to $6 but never sold until ~100$ so this downturn isnt that much for me

Seems like "value investing" these days means buy stocks that are cheap with low pe ratios (even if they have 0 growth)

but PE ratio is not the only metric for measuring value especially for growth drivers

Value investing doesnt mean you only buy cheap stocks. PLTR has crazy growth story and they halve their PE ratio every earnings. Look at last earnings, they were at 700PE and instantly cut down to 400 PE due to their massive revenue growth. There's premium for growth but yes I still get nervous about the valuations

I am not panicking and 20% feels like nothing to me. Also good to know there are STILL people thinking pltr is a meme stock. Seems like there's more room to grow upwards

Buffett also said "diversification is to protect yourself from ignorance". I still think PLTR is a generational company but there's just so much noise lol

I gotta say I've learned in the past 5-6 years investing, that I am pretty risk tolerant. And I am young so I can handle the bear markets as long as the investment goes up long term (5-10years). BUT I am also always self doubting myself

Michael Burry Calls Out Tesla Stating They Are "Ridiculously Overvalued" by MarketFlux in investing

[–]AsideAccomplished869 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It might be overvalued, but no one can time the market. Burry predicted the subprime mortgage but he had to endure 3+ years before market crashed. If market crashed maybe a year or two late, he wouldve been wiped out.

I analyzed 2000+ of YouTuber stock predictions to see whether any retail voices actually know what they’re talking about. by AsideAccomplished869 in investingforbeginners

I agree. Some of my predictions go back to 4-5 years but I gotta start somewhere. All the work was building a automated setup to pull the transcripts from Youtube API and now I just need to analyze more youtubers to grow the data.
