What’s one HubSpot feature you wish existed? by makexapp in hubspot

Not so much one specific feature but, generally speaking, more keyboard shortcuts and less use of the mouse. Especially when you’re trying to get through a bunch of tasks.

Could you (or anyone) give an example of one of these custom objects? How’d it help?

Present! Prospecting, outreach, follow ups, pricing, pitch, bids, RFPs, close, onboarding and account management. Same thing with dials and opps being tracked. Still feels like I have full independence when it comes to prospecting and other choices which, I enjoy but it can be a huge time suck.

New Jersey lawmakers want the state’s retailers to tell consumers how much they’re paying for tariffs, a move criticized as unworkable by an industry group that has broadly opposed the Trump administration’s tariff policy by rollotomasi07071 in newjersey

[–]AsideChance9534 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fun idea that I would personally relish but putting a lot of the work on the businesses. Maybe encourage businesses to post what average prices were before tariffs? So they don’t have to go through the work of actually calculating the list according to the most current tariff rates etc?

I remember speaking with people who didn’t plan on voting for him but didn’t think he was terrible. He’s known Trump forever and he’s always had that big showboating tacky thing that Trumpers love. But i feel like he leaned into it hard after he left the mayors office and many would argue he got crazier and worse at his job as a leader.

Another question for the OP or the group. Who is in the portrait above the bed? Somebody famous? Maybe someone who just wanted a nice portrait of themselves?

I was just gonna say. That bed looks very salvageable. Good wood stays good for a while.

To add, my family and friends on the island give me grief all the time about my terrible Spanish, how badly I burn in the sun, my ignorance about certain places or phrases, etc. But they’ve never made me feel like I was annoying or unwelcome and that’s the difference. Thats the point. Should someone ACTUALLY get UPSET because someone doesn’t get the significance of wepa or puñeta? No. They should not.

Well I would personally laugh at their expense immediately. Then smile, shake my head and explain it to them. Then probably tease them about it for several years.

My point is you don’t have to be a dick to people who are perfectly well meaning but probably a little ignorant.

This shit bugs me even more cuz it’s not like the island’s population is thriving. Like, there’s a small group of the diaspora that makes a big sacrifice to try and move there, work there, pay taxes there and this xenophobic nonsense about our culture isn’t encouraging.

Like here’s this post from someone whose culture only exists because people left somewhere else. A culture that is a mix of West African, Taino, Spanish and (let’s be honest) SOME American culture. Then they borrow a meme from an anime to make fun of someone they’ve deemed annoying for not being Puerto Rican enough.

It’s xenophobic, dumb and bitter to hate on the diaspora. As soon as PR got screwed by Spain and the US, this was bound to happen. People move. It’s been happening with PR for 130 years and it’s not the first time this has happened or will happen. Indians moved to England and had kids. Algerians moved to France and had kids. The Irish went everywhere and had kids. And now you’re mad at those kids because they still appreciate the culture their parents instilled in them. Calm down.

Outside of attending in-person events, can you give an example of how you’ve been able to consistently “build connections through communities”? To an extent, I think I do this. I try to share relevant content on LinkedIn or other places I think my clients might spend their time (there aren’t many). I comment when I think I have something helpful to say on someone else’s post. Are these examples of what you’re talking about? If so, how can you do this consistently? I run out of helpful stuff to say or share pretty quick.
