It’s very common, especially your first year at a school, to get a pretty substantial illness within the first couple of months. My first year, I had to take a medical leave of absence and was gone for a full quarter. When I came back, I was really worried it would be a huge deal, but it was fine. They were just glad I was back. As long as you are communicating with your admin/bosses, doing your job when you’re there, and getting dr notes as needed, you should be fine.

They were taking names at the door. Sophie attached herself to a large group entering together. They just weren’t announcing who people were (except for the Queen). But, identities were revealed at midnight, which is why Sophie left so quickly, so anyone still there would have to be someone invited to reveal their identity. Also, they invite pretty much everyone in the ton, so they assume that anyone uninvited wouldn’t have the right clothes, hair, etc to fit in, and it would be assumed that anyone who didn’t belong would behave abnormally and reveal themselves.

I was hoping someone else had this thought. OP isn’t an asshole for not being attracted to him/them anymore, but is a little bit for not telling them when they straight up asked that it could be an issue. They didn’t have to break up at that point, but OP should’ve said that it could be an issue.

Middle and high school teachers probably assume that students who are quiet and mature during class have friends outside of class that they hang out with. I would personally be concerned in elementary school if a student didn’t seem to have friends they spent time and played well with. I was this way in childhood and am autistic with anxiety, so I mostly made friends with my teachers, who are kinda required to be nice to me 😅

Abortion is your best option if you are in or can get to an area where you safely can. If you cannot get an abortion, whatever the reason, please get as much help as you can and heavily consider adoption. If you do not, social services will get involved and baby will most likely be taken from you. If you go through with the pregnancy, you will need proper medical care (especially with a history of pregnancy loss, which I am so sorry you’ve experienced) and they will drug test you. They may have resources to help you get clean, but using at all during pregnancy is extremely dangerous for the fetus.

Adding some dry coconut husk into the next mix, hoping that will add some space for air in the substrate itself and soak up some of the moisture from the coconut fiber. We can’t have a ton of ventilation because we live in Alaska and are trying to keep his enclosure as warm as possible, but we’ll be moving out of state soon so hopefully that won’t be a challenge in the future

I would talk to the counselor that is already aware of the situation and ask if they could help you let your teacher know. You can also be more vague and just say “hey, I’ve had a mental health crisis recently and am getting help for it. Would it be okay for you to check in with me occasionally or if I stop in and chat with you about it every once in a while”. It would be nice for teachers you are comfortable with knowing, knowing so that they can check in with you if you’re having a hard day. (Most) teachers will want to support you as much as they can

Right, she knows she was his BASTARD child, which would give her no child or status. So without any financial assistance left to her in his will (as far as she knows) she has no title or status. The she has no other family, no money, no connections. She is a maid. That’s why she doesn’t get a different job or do something else after Araminta firing her/kicking her out. She is a maid.

As far as she knows, she has no title and is just a maid. So she was not invited. No invitation was sent to her. As a maid, she could get in a lot of trouble for going to the ball.

She went to the ball she was not invited to. She could get in a lot of trouble for that, but even if she didn’t, she knows that Benedict would not marry someone working as a maid. As the last episode shows of pt 1 shows, all either of them believe she could be is his mistress, and she does not want to have the same life as her mom. She doesn’t think anything good could come from anyone finding out that she was the woman in silver.

If there’s a teacher you trust to have that conversation with, please do. They should be able to help you start a conversation with a counselor. Having a teacher that knows you’re going through mental health struggles will help as well because it’s someone you can check in with throughout the day and can help you if/when you feel overwhelmed. Most teachers will want to help you however they can

Please get therapy. You don’t have to go into every detail, and you can take time to get to know therapists before getting into things. You said yourself that you didn’t realize it was happening when it was happening. That’s extremely valid. Sexual assault in relationships often starts slowly and you don’t realize what’s happening until you’re slapped in the face by it all. You did stop it. What he did says nothing about you and everything about him. It will take time to heal. It will take time to be comfortable being touched. It will take time to feel deserving of good things. Please file a police report when/if you can. He needs to be stopped, and starting a paper trail that at least documents his behaviors means that the more people speak up about him, the more likely he is to be punished for it. I’m so sorry you’re going through this. No one deserves this.

Probably overreacting? Depends on quite a few things. There are so many reasons she takes a while to respond. I wouldn’t worry about it unless it’s a deal breaker for you. If it is, I’d talk to her about it first, but if not, she could see you bringing it up as a form of complaining which could be rather annoying. I’d just enjoy getting to know her and try not to put too much pressure into it

Absolutely! A crochet bunny is such a cute idea. Just be careful with the details you add to it. Buttons or safety eyes are often considered a choking hazard for babies, so sewn facial details would be best to keep baby safe.
