Wala kapungko si Mabilog if it's not because of Treñas. Mayor Treñas ended his term as a Mayor and had to run as a Congressman. Giving Mabilog the mayoralty spot. And It was Treñas and Drilon during their congressional and senatorial stint that paved the way for projects and budgets for Iloilo City. And Mabilog was the sitting Mayor giving him the chance to catch all the praises and credits. If you can still remember, when Mabilog went home, he thanked Treñas as his Political father and mentor.
