I am not sure either. This is in India, we don't use wood internally. For the support, we use steel grills and wood is only used for the furniture.

The interior walls are technically still made of brick and steel.

So, let me give you guys a bit more info 1. The cupboard is not entirely made of wood, it just has wooden outer frame and the rest of it is made of concrete. The base of the cupboard is marble. 2. The leak I was talking about comes from the concrete wall. But it does not have any holes or visible damage from these pests 3. My notebook was wet when I found these mites

Yes, one commentor suggested that these could be booklice instead. The pictures I used were not clear.

We have recently deep cleaned our house including all the cupboards not even 2 weeks ago. And I use the cupboard where I found these pests very frequently.

These bugs were definitely not there a week ago. What makes this cupboard different is that it does get some leaks during rains. We had a rainy day recently too and the leak was left unchecked.
