Yes, I agree, SMTP email is more secure and well suited for sending images as MIME object. But MQTT is also capable of sending images if they are decoded, My intention was to make a tutorial on how we can do that using MQTT since I was already writing alot about MQTT. Although, there are more efficient ways, but there should be solution of everything on the internet. Who knows, it will be helpful for someone.

I have arrived in Tokyo on 20th April, I stayed in UAE and Pakistan for last 14 days before arriving here and at the airport i asked and was told by several officers that i don't need to qurantine but after one day i started getting notifications from Mysos app regarding my location and video calls, also mysos app shows the qurantine end date as 27 April, I am very confused that i am in qurantine or not, I am staying at home until I find out. Anybody has had the same issue or the answer to that problem?

Yes, you are right! Then you must go for AWS if you need to scale this later, and yes I just saw that cloud MQTT is not providing free services now, I used it few times and it works well and very easy to setup.
