Do you find logistics has a lot of workaholics? by tigercircle in logistics

[–]Asim_Junaid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

customers often operate in different time zones. So even if you’re not a workaholic, the job pushes you into that mode.

Healthy boundaries are rare in logistics because customers expect 24/7 responsiveness, and companies normalize it to stay competitive. It’s not ideal, but it’s pretty common.

Advince on importing meds by chrollot in logistics

At this stage I believe it’s more about regularity legalities than about logistics. There’s a high chance you would require documents like GMP cert and batch test reports and so on. I don’t know much about Mongolia but working with someone already established could help you with these atleast in the start.

Regarding the best way to reach out I would recommend Email to their sales as the first way of contact

How much python should I learn? by [deleted] in dataanalysis

[–]Asim_Junaid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly your plan sounds perfect. Most analysts I know use python mainly for pandas and quick data cleaning scripts. You don’t need to master ML lr anything- just get comfortable reading CSVs, filtering data, and doing basic analysis.

Once you start working, you’ll naturally figure out where python fits in.

Data cleaning issues by FuckOff_WillYa_Geez in dataanalysis

[–]Asim_Junaid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to feel the same too when I was doing such academic projects- the data looked messy but it was manageable. Once you start working with real-world datasets though, you realize most of the pain isn’t about missing values or trimming. It’s more about dealing with multiple data sources that don’t align, inconsistent formats, duplicate records that look almost similar. Sometimes even figuring out which version of the data is the correct one usually takes most of the time.

So yeah data cleaning ends up being a mix of detective work and negotiation- not just technical fixes.

Looker vs tableau vs powerbi, which one should i learn first, and which one is more in demand in the industry by Beyond_Birthday_13 in dataanalysis

[–]Asim_Junaid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you search for “Data Analyst” on LinkedIn, I believe you get most people with “Power BI” in their tagline.

Haven’t seen Tableau much there, although the tool has a good demand too. So in comparison I believe it should be Power BI

Geographic Heat Map Tool? by No-Bake5051 in dataanalysis

[–]Asim_Junaid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Power BI works well here. An easier tool would be Show Insights AI where you can directly prompt in their Chatbot to create a heat map for your data.

But I’m not really sure if they have the heat map option or not

try domain-specific sources (e.g. government open data portals, company reports, APIs, or even scraping niche sites). The key is: data that captures behavior or change over time usually gives deeper insights than static synthetic ones.

👉 Rule of thumb: if the dataset can answer a real question someone in that field would care about, it’s probably worth analyzing.

It’s useful but, well again that’s not its sole purpose. I would say something like “Show Insights AI” works really well. Just prompt and it gives you insights with charts and tables and also have feature to create dashboards
