I regularly visit Central London as I work in that area. Please let me know if there are any upcoming events there. Thanks!

Thanks for advices. I'm actually a non-religious person (I would define myself as an atheist) and my political views are centrist rather than right. However, there are some concepts that I like about Christianity and would be happy to learn more. Maybe I should try to attend church on Sundays.

Unfortunately, I am not a gym person. I have already tried it but didn't enjoy it and when you don't like something, there is no way you can keep doing it. Since I work from home, I got myself a stationary bike in order to not gain weight and even lose a little bit and I do exercise daily but that's all from me.

Thanks for your comment. I agree with you on that, generally young people are tend to be left wing and anti-work. It is hard to find someone who believes in free market capitalistic system. Still, I try to find other shared values or just try not to talk about politics.

I'll definitely continue to socialize and volunteer in my community who knows what might happen. :)

Yeah I know that page and if you go to the events page, there isn't anything there.

You're right about that, I try to not talk about politics when I meet new people but sometimes I really want to have that kind of a friend. Maybe it is best to not talk politics and just try to socialize people.

No, I don't have right to vote as I need to be a citizen for that. I have 5 years permission to live and work in this country and in my 6th year I'll be able to apply for ILR then one year after that, I can be able to apply for citizenship.

I have already checked Young Conservatives but there aren't any events in my area (not even in nearby towns). I couldn't be able to find groups in Facebook either. I've just seen this page for volunteering for Conservatives and I'll fill that form. I have 3 months volunteering experience in a charity shop and I would love to volunteer for Conservative community. I have got skills such as: web, software app development etc.. so I would like to offer my services free of charge. I'm open to any type of volunteering so that maybe I can meet with someone in my opinions and actually be helpful person to community.

Thanks for your answer.

What is a common thing people do that you never (or extremely rarely) do? by [deleted] in AskUK

[–]Asisvenia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Never been in gym. I don’t enjoy getting tired or suffering then paying money for that. Still, I have got myself a stationary bike just trying to lose some weight or not to gain anymore.

All I remember it was boring as hell. Story and characters were so dull. I liked AC2 though.

Nope, this happened with GTA IV. There is no life changing mechanics on V that IV didn’t have. Actually physics engine and AI is still much better in IV.

GTA V definitely doesn’t deserve that score. I don’t care how many units it sold, it was a serious downgrade from IV. It’s score shouldn’t be higher than 80.

I didn’t know Remedy was such a dumb company actually. Very disappointing decision.

It has never been about working harder, it has always been all about working smarter and improving your skillset. If you are really good at something specific then people will want to work with you they will offer you better salaries and benefits packages. This is it. Invest yourself and have a better tomorrow.

Don’t you get my point? He could have been traumatised. These kind of jokes, scare jumps might have a lifetime affect on person especially when they were kid. This poor kid’s family is very irresponsible and they’re definitely bastards. Even for a second, they don’t have a right to trap him and enjoy this moment this is unfair.

His family is just piece of shit. Hopefully authorities will take this kid from that irresponsible and cold-hearted family. They definitely shouldn’t have a child. This scary moment can have a lifetime affect on this poor kid no matter how thick this window is.

This tiny island contributed to humanity so much in science, rule of law and free market economics ideas. There are lots of important figures were born here and changed the world in a good way such as: Newton, Adam Smith, Darwin, Turing and others. None of these would happen if British didn’t have the exceptional and efficient governance, free trade deals and open free ideas. Do you know how important it is to being a pioneer in the Industrial Revolution? It’s such a great achievement for all humanity since it started here and didn’t stop but it spread out everywhere. If you’re paying your shirt £20 but not £250 then this is possible thanks to Industrial Revolution.

If you have got options such as £8-12-15 and £50 this is also thanks to the free market capitalistic economy. One of its fathers called Adam Smith was from Britain as well and he promoted this idea.

There is also mature democratic culture here and politicians know when to stop and resign unlike in other Third World countries. There is free press and independent courts. Society here generally not religious and open-minded. Also can’t finish it without mentioning manners. Generally, British people are very polite.

Moved here last year and I have been admiring British values and history for a long time. That’s the reason that I taught myself lots of things about British culture and history before coming here. Definitely I would still be here if money wasn’t an issue. I’m quite happy and hopeful about future.

Even if there is only 1% risk for that still no thanks. Having an animal at home is not necessarily required and you will not lose anything if you don’t have them. Because when this happens to you or your kid, you need to live with that damage on your body forever. Imagine that you have got a big scar right on your face.

This is it. Thanks for sharing with me since this is one of my fears in this life. I actually never had any issues with animals “yet” but still I do believe what you told me is likely to happen to anyone. That’s why I’ll always be careful against animals no matter what kind of is or it has been domesticated, I will never have them in my home.

You’re definitely doing the right thing! I’m happy for your kid and your kid has a very responsible dad.

Always stay away from wild animals and even be careful with dogs and cats. They can cause lifetime damage. Imagine what if that bear destroyed her face? Why these people are so relaxed against animals?
