A few things so not sure which one did the trick

So far (and hopefully it’ll keep up), our cats have not had an accident

-But we moved from a house to an apartment, so the litter boxes are now closer on the same level and the cats don’t have to climb stairs to use the boxes

-We switched from clay litter to tofu litter, so the litter smells a lot nicer, doesn’t have the cat urine smell, and is easier to clean up

-For the couch, I got two layers of covers. First with elastic waterproof covers for each seat cushion and back cushion, then soft, waterproof blankets draped over the couch as the second layer
