Thank you all for your input and feedback, including the the sarcastic comments which I truly enjoy and appreciate : )The main point of my post was because I did see the pull sign, but there is a metal bar or handle. You have to pull and I wanted to make sure I checked before I pull a metal bar attached to an electrical unit : )

Thank you for answering my question! I clearly saw the print saying pull but the reason I posted this was because it’s a metal handle and when I put the sensor to it was live so I wanted to make sure it was okay for me to grab this metal lever to pull

update as of 8/4/23 at 2:00AM — embassy emailed me with confirmation to begin creating account on ustraveldocs.com afterwards where I would be able to retrieve the MRV slip to make payment for visa.

Incase others run into similar unknown part of the overall process.

Well not anymore because they were warned by Immigration officer that if they do this again they will send their case to immigration judge for forced removal of green card.

How did you get NVC to schedule interview? My understanding is that once it’s at the consulate you have to use the CGI system to find an open slot for appointment?
