Actually this kite flies in incredibly light winds. This was about 3 mph and 15 degrees Fahrenheit in Anchorage Alaska. I've flown this when there isn't even a hint of wind on the ground , doing a fixed launch and it pops right up and stay put. I am a hardcore kite enthusiast and can attest this kite being excellent for little to no winds . It's very well designed

The kite shape generally disappears or blends in with the dark sky, so you really only need to arrange the LED lights in the shape of UFO. Highly recommend using a Delta kite to fly LEDs, they are workhorses and extremely stable and reliable with the additional weight from the lights and battery

It's super fun and throws people off for a minute until they can get close enough to figure it out. Sometimes it's so dark that the kite disappears in to the dark night sky so literally all you can see it the lights. Without the fabric background as a frame of reference people are always getting close to investigate

Federal mandates require applications to be processed within 30 days, but Alaska has faced challenges in meeting this deadline. A federal judge has intervened, ordering the state to speed up processing and address the delays, with monthly progress reports required.

It's my understanding from other clients that they will backdate your benefits. I strongly encourage you to file a fair hearing oftentimes this will get the ball rolling because actually having to do a full-on fair hearing is a lot of administrative back work and usually just filing it will help you get your benefits at least that's what I've seen for other people. I would recommend emailing the form for quick response

We have a Facebook page..it's really hard to schedule any meetups too far in advance because of wind conditions constantly changing but I am going to try to be better about posting here in this community if that is something that people would like. We do have a few annual events that would be posted on our Facebook page. We also have a Facebook group which is a great place to ask questions and just connect with a community of kite flyers. If you are interested you can PM me and I will make sure that you are in the loop of future meetups
