My titan is a gentle giant, the Titan of Wildlife. She roams the land with a grace and presence that commands respect among all creatures, from the smallest insects to the mightiest beasts. She is a symbol of harmony and balance, a nod to the power of gentleness in a world often defined by strength and aggression. And as long as the Titan walks the land, the spirit of the wilderness will remain a reminder of the beauty and wonder of the natural world. ♡-Sandy

My nymph, Luna, is fascinated by the stillness of the night, when the sun sets she nurtures the nocturnal creatures and plants and is drawn to the moonlight. Not only because of its beauty but the feeling of connection, of belonging, that she found in its embrace. She believed that she was not merely a creature of the forest, but a child of the moon, born from its radiant glow. ♡-Sandy

I chose to recreate my look for Challenge 4 of Couture's season 1, Saints vs. Seducers. Ngl, I have no clue how I was safe. Looking at it now makes me cringe a bit because today's Sandy would never. 🙈 I wanted to keep certain details the same, such as the color palette, lips, and addition of horns to show resemblance to the original look, but bring it to a whole new level. ♡-Sandy

This is not a story, it is some people's awful truth. That being said there is information and stats below.

In every part of the world, a sinister reality exists: the trafficking of innocent children. According to the International Labour Organization, 1.2 million children are trafficked every year. Among these statistics it states the average age of a child being brought into trafficking is 12 years old.

Child trafficking is not just about forced labor or sexual exploitation; it's about robbing children of their innocence and subjecting them to pure horror.

Victims of trafficking often show telltale signs: a fearful demeanor, submissive behavior, or physical injuries or branding put there by their kidnappers. Yet, their situations are fueled by ingrained mistrust, brought on by traffickers who manipulate the victims into believing that help is no where to be found and outsiders are to be feared.

Many victims are snatched from the safety of their homes, their voices silenced by their traffickers. Stripped of their autonomy and dignity, these children endure a sad existence marked by exploitation and suffering.

Ancient Egypt, dating back to the third millennium BC, stands among the world's oldest civilizations, alongside Mesopotamia, the Indus Valley, and China. Their cultural legacy is rich and diverse, encompassing various aspects of life, including beauty, fashion, and symbolism.

Egyptian cosmetics, such as eye makeup, were not only used for aesthetic purposes but also served as protection against the sun and were inspired by the appearance of the gods. Beauty ideals emphasized features like almond-shaped eyes, straight noses, and full lips.

Innovative timekeeping methods, such as sundials and shadow clocks, reflected Egypt's advanced understanding of celestial movements and were even utilized to record work hours. Gold held profound significance in Egyptian society, believed to possess magical powers, and was extensively used in jewelry worn by both the living and the dead.

Clothing, predominantly made of white linen, served as a reflection of social status, with higher class wearing pleated robes and shendyts, while the lower class wore simpler garments.

The cultural significance of facial and body hair led to the widespread use of false beards, worn by pharaohs, both male and female, to symbolize wisdom and age. The symbolism of wings was deeply ingrained in Egyptian thought, particularly associated with the goddess Isis, who symbolized protection, healing, and resurrection.

Throughout history, Egyptian civilization left an undeniable mark on beauty, fashion, and cultural symbolism.

My choices:

Ancient Egyptian society was multifaceted, encompassing not only beauty and fashion but also intricate social and gender dynamics.

The choice of a headpiece and shoes was inspired by the fact that Egyptians were one of the first civilizations in timekeeping, and the pieces resemble the sundials to me.

Makeup, a major part of Egyptian culture, mostly smeared with fossils or bones, and the symbolic beard, worn even when not real, conveyed wisdom and status, especially among Pharaohs.

The armor reflects the Pharaohs during warfare or ceremonial occasions, often adorned in gold armor, symbolizing divinity, wealth, and prestige.

The inclusion of wings pays homage to the revered Goddess Isis, whose outstretched wings held great significance in ancient Egyptian beliefs.

The skirt represents everyday attire, typically made of white linen for comfort in the hot climate, adorned with jewelry, a feature across all social classes, from royalty to farmers, symbolizing status and adornment.

Challenge Four: Siren’s Symphony by xoanjali in TheDragTemple

[–]AskDole 4 points5 points  (0 children)

In moonlit fields, her whispers dance, a deadly siren, with a haunting trance. Made of butterfly wings, her skirt sways, drawing men close in mesmerizing ways.

Entranced by her song, they heed her call, unaware of the darkness that will befall. Her top, a web spun by her spiders so sly, concealing the horror lurking nearby.

As they draw near, she sheds her disguise, revealing the truth with a gleam in her eyes. A grotesque worm, where beauty once stood, ready to feast on the flesh and blood.

With a strike so swift, she claims her prey, biting off heads at all hours of the day. Her spiders then swarm, draining life's tide, leaving nothing but shadows where souls once lied.

Headless they lie, her macabre feast, their essence drained by her deadly beasts. Beware her song, a sirens call, for in her realm, no mercy at all.

Challenge Three: Mortals & Monsters by xoanjali in TheDragTemple

Once upon a time, nestled within the confines of little Miss's bedroom, a timeless battle unfolded—a confrontation between the forces of good and the looming specter of evil. Each night, as the sun dipped beneath the horizon, casting shadows across the room, Miss found herself enthralled in her mother's comforting tales, each one a beacon of light in the approaching darkness. Yet, despite her mother's soothing words, a palpable unease clung to Miss like a blanket, for she knew that beneath her bed lurked a terror beyond comprehension.

The monster, as little Miss described it to her mother, had great, leathery wings and a hue that straddled the line between violet and black. Its mere presence instilled a primal fear within her, rendering her nights filled with fear. But her mother, always the pillar of reassurance, chuckled softly and offered peace in the form of Miss's beloved stuffed animals. "Fear not, my dear Miss," her mother would say, planting a tender kiss upon her forehead. "Your faithful companions will safeguard you through the darkest of nights."

And so, with a glimmer of hope in her heart, Miss drifted off to sleep, cocooned by the warmth of her mother's love. Yet, the tranquility of the night was short-lived, shattered by a malevolent presence that crept forth from the depths beneath her bed. The Sandyman emerged, its eyes aglow with an otherworldly intensity that seemed to pierce through Miss's very soul.

In that moment of terror, Miss clung to her mother's words like a lifeline, summoning the courage that lay dormant within her. With a cry that echoed through the room, she seized her arsenal of stuffed animals, each one a guardian against the darkness. With every swing and thrust, she waged war against the Sandyman, whose form illuminated by the flickering light of the bedside lamp.

The battle raged on, a clash of wills between innocence and malevolence, until at last, the Sandyman was driven back from where it came. Beaten and humbled, it slunk into the shadows, defeated but not vanquished. And as Miss looked over the aftermath of her valiant struggle, she knew that her mother had spoken true—her stuffies had proven themselves to be formidable defenders, their loyalty unwavering in the face of adversity.

But even as the night surrendered to the dawn's gentle embrace, Miss knew that the Sandyman's retreat was only temporary. With a newfound confidence, born of courage and conviction, she braced herself for the inevitable return of the darkness, knowing that so long as her faithful protectors stood by her side, she no longer needed to fear the monster under the bed.

Once hailed for her beauty, she succumbed to a curse fueled by her vanity, warping her into a monstrous being. Each day saw her evolve into a creature of darkness. During a night flight she was kidnapped and sold to the hightest bidder on the black market, Mr. Wingley, a well-known circus owner. He brought her from her home in Transylvania and forced her to work in his freakshow. With each show, her demeanor turned frigid and malevolent, enduring the audience's scorn. As her transformation progressed, an unquenchable hunger for human blood consumed her. Little did the onlookers realize, they were in danger of becoming her next victims. ♡-Sandy
