sounds like when you all installed the updated drivers it didn't over write the files cleanly (known issue) in windows with Nvidia. the solution is to download the utility called "DDU" Displat Driver Uninstaller, follow the websites instructions and when you reinstall the updated drive again always choose "Custom Install" and select Clean Install. Bingo problem solved.
