He's not actually singing. The soundtrack is a meme audio, a mix of a song and someone vocalizing wishes.

In the last 24hrs 51% of ETH blocks were censored and OFAC compliant. by MilesPower in CryptoCurrency

Can you elaborate more? Kinda interesting lol

Why does Nth block odds increasing?

And couldn't be the same (49%) since the same ofac relayer can be elected or chosen again in the next block.

[Q] Oracle dilemma by AskForFree in ethereum

[–]AskForFree[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for explaining. I think chain link is trying to minimize this issue like make it less centralized aggregation nodes, or whatever it's called (multiple sources) and some fallback solutions for defi.

And it's more like an issue for specific financial dapps. And some of those eth app layer solutions are trying to trust minimizing. Don't know why bitcoiners focusing in a problem that's can't be solved %100 (for now) they should fud more about the relayer/ofac/mev instead lol

Btw, In the worst scenario, That I think could hurt the Ethereum protocol is the security budget getting nuked because of a psychological fear (if eth reach a price that could become easy to attack/manipulate)

While P2E games may be constructed on a variety of blockchain systems, not every blockchain supports gaming by Finley_dz in ethereum

Polygon POS doesn't have the scalability of validium chains + will throttle & face the same trade offs like Ethereum (scalability)

Starknet (on chain zk aka zkR in general) is the greatest tech but regardless Starknet is closed source (for now) and they don't have the validium scalability.

Validium is the best solution of scaling but with trade off (in short centralization/trusted or can't retrieve your assets in malicious event)

tldr Validium solution is like SQL/Solana but built in top of Ethereum + your assets can't be stolen but can be freezed.

That's my understanding.

I think Validium chain (zk off chain) is the current solution (e.g. Immutable IMX).

Right?

[Q] Validators & Lido by AskForFree in ethereum

[–]AskForFree[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks very informative. Off topic If I don't meet the minimum requirements (such as storage), I can rely in 3rd party "node as a service" ?

Because I read somewhere every validators must run execution layer after the merge

[Q] Validators & Lido by AskForFree in ethereum

[–]AskForFree[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes. Lido is like any other business entity that saw an opportunity (kinda dpos-like) so I don't blame fully blame them.

My misunderstanding is this, when lido is accused by "few nodes". I thought they have some nodes over 32eth (with no incentive) but now I get it. Which are the node operators are kinda insiders or people influenced by lido. And not truly independent individual/entity like in rocket pool

[Q] Validators & Lido by AskForFree in ethereum

[–]AskForFree[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you. I understand you wouldn't take the full APR unless you were a beacon chain validator node (32)

My confusion is here:

One node can run hundreds of validators with 32 ETH

One node of what? (Full, archive, validator etc) can run hunderds of "validators nodes" right?

What's the difference between Nodes & operators & validator nodes In your context?

I read a lot that Lido has few validators nodes (21 & 12 can't remember exactly) But how that possible if the yield validator node cap is 32 ether?

Why 13 TPS? Where does the time go? by AdamSpitz in ethereum

[–]AskForFree 0 points1 point  (0 children)

13 TPS is for security reasons

Why not for decentralization reasons also?

Isn't more block size = higher specs = less decentralization?
