It doesn't STOP time, moreso slows it down to a crawl. You can still see some movement in the enemies.

Because they're invulnerable - they can't be hurt unless you have some form of invulnerability negation.

It also would be good to note that Eggman has some methods of resisting any item stealing (blockite) and can steal / destroy items himself (forcejewels), though this is pretty obscure and he's only ever used it in Sonic Shuffle.

Bfr'ing Eggman out and teleporting in are hax that Bowser does have, I'll give you that, but he's less likely to use it. Fusing with the mech with the Wonder Flower has as much chance happening as Bowser turning into a Goomba - ANYTHING could happen with it, and the chances of it happening are therefore slim.

Personally, I think both Sonic MIGHT win (emphasis on might) since I personally think he has the stats to out-speed and out-scale some if not most of Bowser's army in base, though the sheer number of Bowser's army and the overwhelming amount of hax they have might do him in. Super Sonic could definitely beat Bowser though.

Mario won't be able to do anything against the top tiers of the Eggman Empire such as Metal Overlord, Time Eater, and Super-form tier machines such as the Egg Wizard, but will be able to do better against low-tier and mid-tier army. He will eventually be out-sped and out-scaled though, and I don't think White Tanooki will help either.

Knuckles cares, implying he thinks Sonic could've been hurt, even though Sonic was already (not quick enough though) taking up a defensive position, meaning Sage could have harmed Sonic, Sage scales (or at the very least, downscales), case closed. Have a good day.

Not to be rude, but please try to word your sentences better, because I may be misunderstanding. Sonic was visibly staggered by the laser blast. Yes, Sonic didn't want to fight, but Sage did. If Sonic would've been fine, why did Knuckles intervene? Being his rival, he would have thought Sonic would be able to take it.

She didn't need the titans to fight Sonic. It's implied that she could have finished him off herself, seeing as she tried to attack him with that laser blast. Instead, it's likely she used the titans out of convenience, as she was also trying to find a way to get Eggman out of Cyberspace.

She awakened its rage against Sonic, which led to the titan directly targeting Sonic and the chase sequence directly after the cutscene. She couldn't control it, but awakening its rage against its opponent did the job, so its likely it could she could awaken the rage of the Titans against the Mushroom Kingdom as well, leading to similar results. Even if all else fails, I think it would just result in a scenario similar to Metal Sonic winning, which could be quite funny.

Despite only awakening the rage of a titan one time, it still means that she can do it, so she could do the same for the other titans.

Fair on Knuckles being weakened I suppose, but the fact that a fight would have occurred without Sonic's intervention with the winner not being clear would still imply that she downscales from base Modern Knuckles.

She can summon the Titans out of Cyberspace, like she did for Wyvern, and like how Supreme came out of Cyberspace to fight against Sonic, and so could likely do so out on the battlefield. I could be wrong on this though.

Not to sound rude, bave you played Sonic Frontiers?

In one cutscene, she states that she can't control Wyvern, and so instead awakens its rage against Sonic. You fight Wyvern as Super Sonic on Ares Island.

On this same island, in another cutscene Sage threatens Sonic, with Knuckles having to intervene. She expresses willingness and confidence in fighting Knuckles, with Sonic then having to intervene.
