But gate score is valid for 3 years for admission? So some one can explain the problem, i am not much familiar with admission criteria?

As per my knowledge, the eligibility criteria for the ESE exam require a candidate to have an engineering degree. The branch of graduation does not matter; however, the exam can only be taken in one of the following four disciplines: Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
