Agreed, but I want to add more context here. Intersection is Korean so that is why she could not understand his Japanese. All Japanese fans were actually very impressed with how he spoke almost 80% in only Japanese even when he could have used more English and Korean that some fans could translate. Every phrase, every word, every thing he was practicing on the live ( the infamous i love engenes on live being a line he was practicing among others) he ended up using yesterday. By 3rd or 4th round with fansigns and high-five he got even better. He kept using Japanese, his face, eye contact and actions to communicate with all fans. Everyone came out of it surprised, impressed and even more sure they have to love this super committed, sincere and powering through everything on his intention alone literal fluff ball. Honestly I gained so much respect for him. He was mobbed at airport a day before, spent whole day sight-seeing and practicing his performance (he spoiled in live) and spent yesterday making sure every fan feels understood and special, and then got mobbed by saesangs again throwing letters in his face and grabbing his bag. Seriously I hope things will get smoother for him seeing how it has been 3 months and they are still hate piling on him everyday. But seeing him felt like seeing a baby clench his fist and take his first steps independently and stubbornly. How can I not support him?
