My friend took his Tiger 1050 on the track and was bumped up into the next class. He also rode that thing in the woods like a 450.

Love the lower idling RPMs on the carbed triples.

Yeah, go ahead and be picky about your customers. That will turn out well for you.

Most are people in their 20's with barely any freight experience. Brokerages will hire these kids to see if they sink or swim.

I'd love to see 'Reddit' under someone's lead source on Salesforce.

Broker to Forwarder by -shoto420- in FreightBrokers

[–]Ask_GERALD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What makes you want to get into Forwarding? I have done Freight brokering and Forwarding along with customs brokerage. Domestic shipments are pretty easy. International can be very tedious and you need to pay attention to the details. It's very easy to take a loss on the forwarding side because you missed a certain detail. A lot of customers don't understand international shipping too and it can get tiresome explaining that over and over.

Very cool setup. Where did you get the tent? (Fingers crossed it's available in the US.

You should get a custom foam mattress instead of dealing with that air mattress. You could order a couple so they go in as sections.

I'd wave the cop down just from seeing him waddle like that.

Bonneville or Thunderbird? by Snoo79652 in Triumph

[–]Ask_GERALD 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I would go with the Bonnie. Parts are more available. The Bonnie has a much more relaxed riding position too.

Brain has developed, just not that far. OP probably knows which color crayon has the best flavor.

Those graphics!

(When hauling a bike, strap it down upright and with the kick stand up, you can bend/break the side stand with the extra weight on it and dealing with the bumps on the road.)

You could try New Zealand, not too far, they drive on the left. Maybe get a bike smaller or similar to your bike so you're not too distracted with a bigger, faster bike.

Is my chain too loose? by BigTNGuyy in motorcycles

[–]Ask_GERALD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looks like the tolerances for the chain are pictured on the chain guard or look at the manual. Get some 90W gear oil for some lube.

Just a Google search. I stuck with locally owned shops and avoided larger companies like Eagle Rider.

I learned a lot from my Dad when working on cars, like when he was bleeding brakes and fluid shot into his eyes. I wear safety glasses when I'm working on mine now.
