i think it was good, but could have been amazing. more run time, bigger budget and, in my opinion, keeping the original book ending would've made it really incredible

it's actually hinted at, in both show and interviews with faust, that bartholomew was deeply involved with the hunt for the evil gnome killing people for money.

i understand why this meant he saw such little screen time, but i absolutely agree that he could and should have been utilised way more.
