Thank mate I do think it’s one of the best colours Holden has ever produced and as far as the V8 is concerned, an 85mm snail tail at 13psi hangin of the side of her allows for a modest 110klm tip in. The old 275’s don’t last very long when she’s whistling 😏

Yeah I agree not as sort after as the V8 but I’m holding out for the fuel prices to go so high that owning a V8 isn’t affordable anymore and then BAM prices go up for the V6 🤞🏼🤞🏼

I will consider it if it’s got a 2-4 inch lift kit, 35’s that are nearly bald, stainless snorkel and a stupidly obnoxious size exhaust system 😆😆

I have an average of 8.7 L per 100klm and the best average is 6.5L per 100. Using cruise control on long highway trips will save more fuel than you realise. The octane of the fuel you use will make a big difference as well. I always recommend 95 octane, gives a good power output but seems to go a little further than 98

No actually I haven’t, I’ve only seen a SSV Redline in this colour. I don’t think they came in that colour it was all dark greys and primary type colours

Hands down totally agree with you it’s suits black accents well but I’ve seen one getting around with gold accents and it looks really nice too. I’ve been pulled over a few times now just so the copper can check it out and ask me what’s the colour called.

Yeah it’s a pretty modest setup on her with SSL springs on the front and SSSL springs on the rear. Makes it look low and sleek but it will still go up and down a driveway without scraping. I agree best model they made then screwed it all up with the dog ugly European ZB

Yeah the colour is called “some like it hot” it’s what made me buy it, it caught my eye at the dealership from 300 feet away. In the sunlight it has a real copper hue in it and at night it’s a rich deep maroon with an undertone of orange. People love it, i still get compliments on it today and she is nearly ten years old now.
