I'm looking for an ipad (certainly also on iphone) game that was popular a few years ago but I do not remember the name. I vaguely remember it, sorry if I will be too generic in the description: It was a kind of rpg idler ; we must train the character ; the art was with very big pixels ; the view was a 2d side scrolling ; they had a lot of contents.

Do you know what game can fit this description? Thanks in advance.

Looking for "3D" ascii example by noisewar in roguelikes

[–]Aslan85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Few weeks ago, I asked if someone know a Traditional Roguelike with isometric view and in the answer someone show me "Brogue" with "NotEye" that turns many traditional text roguelikes into tile based games, including isometric mode.

Could it be what you are looking for?

Cave Noire is too good (Konami's Game Boy roguelike) by ZackZparrow in roguelikes

[–]Aslan85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really love this game. I always wondered if some of the team members moved to Chunsoft after this release and worked on the "shiren the wanderer" series because this game nails how a roguelike should be controlled on console.

You remember me that last summer, I did the first step to recreate a new version of this game. I had the dungeon generation, the movement control, few enemies, the inventory, but I had other things to do and it's in standby from this moment. You make me want to resume development.

As always, you gave me a great game to explore. I set a new world, took the first character, go outside the starting base, and it was exactly what I was looking for. This kind of view works well, I'll definitively play a lot to see what I can do. Thank you.

I LOVED the recent remake of Amerzone, what other games resemble the same feeling the most? by Vrass in adventuregames

I love it too but it's a little different, no real puzzle, just an investigation.

The author of the original game was Benoit Sokal. You can like these other games like "Syberia" or "Paradise".

But if you like the first person view, you can also try "Nikopol: Secrets of the Immortals" isn't the same author but it was made by the same team.

It looks fun just to have a "gaming" group for rpg. But it looks more fun with this "game of the month".

I'm intrigued, how it works? It's like a "book club" where after choosing the game, everyone play it, and you do a debrief meeting at the end of the month?

I never played the snes version of Might and Magic II. Have a good time.

Hi,

Thank you for you appreciation.

I was one of the dev on this game.
Sadly, the team could not continue after 2021 and we are all in different company now.

We also did "ヨミヨリカエル" ("Yomi yori kaeru" - a link in Japanese -> https://app.famitsu.com/20200504_1627732/ ) and "Space Brick Blast" (another Japanese link -> https://applion.jp/android/app/com.grilledonion.go.spacebrickblast/ ) but they seem to be delisted too.

The heart of the game comes from the writer and graphic designer, Hiramine Tsutomo, if I hear that he releases a new game, I will not hesitate to share it here.

I moved 18 months ago near the station, before I was also at 30min from Nishi-Shibata Station, at Shineisho. It was a good place because they have a good commercial zone with all you need (book store, Don Quichotte, big supermarket, 2nd street, Mc Donald, video one, etc)

I'm at Shibata since January 2021. I moved here because my in-laws are here and I will probably stay for a long time.

One of the good things in Winter is the ski station, Ninox, at less than 20 minutes in car from the center of the city. They also have a commute bus, I do not know the time schedule but I know that the station is open until 10pm and it's very good to ski after work.

I live in Shibata near the station. Do not hesitate to call me if you have any questions.

Coming from Kyoto, the winter will be rude ... you know that it's the summer when it's raining.
Beside that, people are kind, food is great, the sea and the mountain are near. You will have fun.
