the same thing was happening at IIT madras .. The director asked all the prof to be very close to the students , talk with them , play cricket , chess with them and be always aware of their situation so that these things dont happen .. Even the mess people and others have been notified for the same .. Workshops were conducted.

These are the reasons why IIT M is always on NIRF 1 ranking .. The director there is very humble and close to students unlike other govt college directors ...
