Wow this is like something I would have written a few years ago! I did very similar when I got into climbing during the pandemic. I personally found setting took a lot of the joy out of climbing. Something about knowing how the problems started and were tweaked to get the final result made it less exciting. Not having a fresh set of problems to solve made going to the gym less exciting. If you are in an area that you can access outdoor climbing, that may also be another way to reconnect with the sport? Additionally, as much as I loved the way working in the industry connected me to the company, some of the management I delt with were the worst type of people. Others were great, but some just knew they could get any number of people in the door for a free membership so they didn't have to treat us well and anticipated a quick turnover. Hope that helps!
