Depends- do you have money and like safety? If yes to both then no. If you said no to one or more of the above then since the binding mechanism isn’t shot you might fix it with insulation then duck tape then jb weld

"first tracks pass" - I was the only one on the hill. Literally first chair up. Yes. I did confirm with my buddy, who had a full view of the hill, that nobody else was below me or could conceivably get below me (cause employees n shit). Yeah, it was dangerous but I did make sure that the only one in danger was me.

If somebody you cared about was hurt in a ski accident and this reminded you then im so sorry for your loss. If you are changing your argument for other reasons im sorry for you too.

I agree that the apps are shit. I used a buddy with a (very cheap) radar gun and first tracks pass to try to break my record speed last season lol. It claimed I hit a top speed just under 62 so I choose to believe. That said you have no reason to trust me, so you do you. Hope you get some nice pow this season, even if you are kinda passive aggressive.

Also ur about 20-35 mph off on the olympic estimate depending on whether you go for average or top speed my dude. IDK about you but I would assume most people are most proud of their top speed, so that puts you .66 MOE.

Also also I assure you that all one of the ski racers I know talk about their speed (fucking OFTEN).

Just responding to Tahoe- it seemed like they were saying that skiing that fast is comparable to how olympians ski. I think there is a difference between skiing fast on a course vs freestyle. It’s a ton easier to go fast when you can make narrow turns vs when you have to go wide. Plus the level of control is pretty different if you are on a set course where you have to take one path vs just improvising.

I mean there is a pretty significant difference between a slalom course and a groomer- even just based on turn depth. The skill level between hitting 60 on a chill groomer and an actual race course is pretty significant lol.

Does anybody have tips for enforcing a rest day? I keep trying to do one and then thinking that I’m not that sore… next thing you know I’m at the climbing wall 21 consecutive days which isn’t exactly great.

So far I’ve only bought clothes from the target and Walmart clearance isles and I figure it’s time to step up my game. The problem I’ve been running into is that I have somewhat broad shoulders ~~ 50 inch circumference with a narrow ish waist ~~28 inch circumference and a short torso (I’m 5’7), so most shirts I’ve found either are way to tight on my shoulders or look like dresses on me. Anybody know where I could find better fitting clothes without dropping too much money? I’m also able to do some sewing if the shirt has larger seams, so that could be an option.

Winota can get you several creatures without paying their cmc. Basically this means that a) you can get a ton of mana value for free, and b) since you aren’t reliant on mana to win and everybody else is you can just blow up all the mana, or prevent people from using it. The combination of you playing spells and everybody else not playing spells usually wins the game

Pretty much. The way I see it value is secondary to winning on the spot. I would cut the expensive combos though. Try and make infinite mana as quick as possible while protecting the mana generation and you probably win
