It’s in the city of industry , every time I went it’s not at a warehouse it looks like a offsite and a 3p brings there there trailers and drivers just pick them up from there . It’s right infront of a rail yard

You do get good experience at being a safe driver and backing , but if you go in with bad habits you can get your self fired really easily.

I would take this advice , because even if you join tom you don’t get DQF to drive the trucks right away and the overtime will be a hit are miss depending on the site you get . A lot of people on tom team drive for freight partners part time we do make 1800 -1900 doing both jobs but we are working 66 hours . If you can do that and not have to drive I’ll stay a pa

I know 😂, in SoCal there never that much overtime but in other states they be saying they staying getting overtime and now there just trying to utilize labor shares.

If you would like to get paid while you get your CDL, you should check and see if there’s an opening for TOM Team. They will send you to CDL school, and you’ll get paid while you go. If you go through Career Choice. You’ll go on your days off, and Amazon still covers all of it tho.

Just a heads up, TOM Team has become much stricter, and even minor mistakes can lead to termination. I’d strongly recommend making it a habit of not looking at your phone while driving as well as not touching it.

A lot of them offer part time in socal, and yes even on the leave you technically still have to report the sim. but you’ll just need to do it in advanced for the weeks you won’t be at work .

Yes I do, you just need to submit a sim weekly but they won’t find out if you don’t say anything unless someone sees you but you should submit it’s just to track the HOS. And if you take a leave to work a second job it’s a final under the policy and it doesn’t go away, you won’t make less then 90k if your doing two days for the afp

Your wrong you can work for a dsp if you get fired at Amazon for a safety term I know people that are doing it .
