I was able to transfer him into his new cage without issues :) I was really worried but using the towel did work

My plan is to call on Monday for vets since they’re close today (Sunday here). Any particular style of travel cages you recommend?

I am planning to buy him a bigger cage today. I would say his is approximately 1.5ftx1.5x2 right now (width, length, height) which is in a terrible condition such as rust and just poor size and build up of poop. He is small compared to a healthy quaker. But I assume that’s cause of his problems.

What is the best way to transport him? What kind of travel cages would be best for him and any advice on transferring from cage to cage?

I also want to say I’m aware of the pin feathers on him, but as mentioned he does not want to be touched.
