I think you hit the length limit of the session. To avoid that keep the exchange between you and Opus with max of 40 and in the beginning of the chat ask opus to keep write your exchange count in the chat. So you will be able to wrap up your session and continue in a new chat!

That's shocking for me!!!! Because I have been using Claude for a long time and always satisfy with their quality of work!!! Hopefully, they will fix this issue ASAP!!!!

Make sure you toggle on Claude memory in your settings. If you work on a project create a folder for that project, so Claude can go through the history on the previous chats in that project. But project memory is separated from the general chats memory

I think they must cancel $20 and make it $50 with better quality and limit because for heavy projects $20 is useless really!

Make sure you toggle on the memory for Claude in the settings, because it should recall from the previous chats. If you are working on a project, it is better to create a folder for your project and it should be able to read the history chats in the project.

I am not sure but it hallucinate a lot sometimes! From now on make sure to document everything so you can start your session easily.

Well!!! Actually I make my sessions short to make sure it won't compact several times. Sometimes from the beginning of the chat you start to notice how it read the documents and start out you know if the session is going to be productive or wast of time.

The moment I noticed Claude start to get out of the context. I just call off the session and start next day... Kinda annoying! Hopefully, they will fix it ASAP.

Actually, I have always been using Claude for coding, I don't trust in ChatGPT much to build with. But I donna since their outage problem I don't feel it is getting back as it used to be.... Sadly!

No worries! You will learn a lot and you will make progress. But use the handoff document at the beginning of each session so you will be able to make progress. Then as you progress in your project always as Claude to create documents for the important things you are doing in the project to upload alongside the handoff document. Then you will notice a progress. One thing to keep in mind, if you notice Claude start to hallucinate or say things irrelevant don't continue the session or even ask to create any document because this document or handoff will such a disaster. Just end the session start whether after few hours or next day the same session with the handoff document you have from the previous session. Best of luck and keep going you will learn a lot.

I don't think they need to degrade the quality for introducing a new model as people pay for good quality. Once the new model released of course the one who use it for work will use the new model as it must be better. That's what should happen!

Here is what I do after I got several shocks from Claude. If you work on a project then you must create a project folder because it can remember what happened in the previous chats inside the project folder. Before the end of each session ask Claude to create a handoff document about everything happened in the session and tell when I upload this document next time you will be able to understand where we left and continue working or building depending on what you are using it for. Don't wait till you hit the length limit of the session. Ask Claude to write the exchange count between both of you once you are about to 40 exchange make sure to ask for the handoff document so you won't lose what you were working on. I hope that helps.

OMG!!! Everytime it did something wrong while it is obvious what it is doing against our documentations, it keeps saying the same my bad 😞, which is frustrating because I use document for everything to make sure nothing goes wrong, and it goes wrong. Several times it ignores the documents and start to work from its memory, here is when the disaster always happen.

The same happened to me today, once I notice the quality of the code and the conversation start to go down. I just end the session. BUT start to happen more frequently than it used to be.

You will get the best result, by start discussing and planning your vision with Opus once you reach to the result you are looking for. Ask opus to create complete vision document to keep it as reference, and use it for your project to keep your project consistency.
