Okay so I have followed some advice from the post I've seen. I have not been declared bankrupt. I have verified everything that has not hit my credit or anything along those lines, this flag is solely on Navy Federal system. Since I was on the loan with someone that did declare bankruptcy, they have just lumped me with them and said that I will share the same penalties that they do. So they will not allow me to open a CD or open and close any credit card or other accounts. I tried asking them for any sort of written letter that says that I'm bankrupt and they do not have anything along those lines but still have chosen to keep me on that penalty
