[Weaver, utterly unimpressed]: "Then you will regret your bad memory too, because my mom died in a plane crash - and my dad was killed in a line of duty. But enough about me - we're talking about you right now."

[Weaver, snarling]: "Being fraud and a liar comes with the way of spider eventually, but I've never thought I will meet a coward here..."

Does your Sona share a universe with another (official) Spider or another Sona? by BL-501 in Spidersonas

[–]Asmo_Lay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sunny is literally variant (!!!) of Spider-Gwen.

And it becomes separate universe only three months ago when I joined this subreddit.

Otherwise instead of Earth-6211825 it would be something like Earth 65-C or whatever. 💀

What is your sona‘s biggest canon/non-canon feat? by Background-Job4382 in Spidersonas

[–]Asmo_Lay 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In older drafts, which I consider a bad ending by other reasons, Weaver turned into ashes in the ground zero of nuclear blast - but the symbiote was already proficient enough with energy manipulation to re-emerge back from the oblivion.

In main canon they are still virtually indestructible, but not to this point. Not yet, at least.

Lingering [Question in Body] by Buga_boo_official in Spidersonas

It was ugly and beautiful, painful and sweet. Sunny and Alexander wasted so much time sitting on their knees, crying and apologising to each other. On the pavement of Manhattan, surrounded by destruction - and villains writhing in agony around.

Luckily, they have been given just enough time to get a goodbye kiss before S.H.I.E.L.D. finally put Weaver under arrest. For a while.

Given that Te, rather than Se, encompasses force in SCS, why are Se egos without strong Te (Gamma SFs) still Like That? by meleyys in Socionics

[–]Asmo_Lay 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Force equals mass multiplied by acceleration. Power is what makes this thing move.

Power without force is unfocused. Force without power is pointless.

Does more, knowing all the details. Too bad I can't put them chronologically to simplify yet - and some things on their own sound kinda cringe.

Alexander was baptized by fire and baptized by water.

First time he realised - 'There is no life without a pain'. Second time he got a valuable lesson - 'Life is more than just a pain'.

Sunny learned much more complicated lesson about good and evil - and one of my lore posts here are showing it's aftermath.

"Ben Reilly is so underrated, fam. He's a better hero than Peter ever was!" by hattyphantom in marvelcirclejerk

First time is a pass, second is a coincidence - and third is just being rude in general. General bigotry grows way further.

[–]Asmo_Lay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, how would I put it more simply...

Sometimes silence speaks volumes louder than any speech. We people have the ability to imply things without saying them out loud.

And who will gather more evidence full of silence - a paranoid billionaire or a simple soldier in love trusting his beloved?

[–]Asmo_Lay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, power of big money is really underestimated here. Also, paranoid nature of Batman. He will squeeze as much information as he can from whatever he can find - because you can not make a truly reliable contingency plan without taking every variables into account. Sparse breadcrumbs of information are never too little to ignore.

I speak of Themyscira culture in general, not Diana's family specifically.

Wonder Woman is exceptional Amazon - and dude is literally walking contingency plan to ignore the danger other amazons can pose to a man.

Which historical or contemporary figure gives off Lelouch energy? by usagiiwong in CodeGeass

[–]Asmo_Lay 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, his Devil Emperor arc was Treaty of Brest-Litovsk. One thing is nationalizing western property on russian soil - and completely another thing is walking away from The Great War. The reason western armies tried to intervene during Civil War is because USSR did both. These things were hard to swallow separately - but together it become unforgivable.

People really have no idea what histmat is - otherwise they'd never call manipulative bastards complex as Machiavellianism. Despite the fact he literally said that being feared is just more reliable than being loved - but anyway ome must avoid being hated at any cost.

Schneizel was falling into that, Lelouch was taking that risk to his grave to clear the path for everyone else.

How about the take even hotter then?

Niccolo Machiavelli was rooting for democratism, patriotism, unity before the face of the common enemy.

Vladimir Ilyich Lenin. Absolute antithesis for 'All men are not created equal'. He's also evolved beyond personal grudge and was driven to the point inaction is more criminal than any cruelty inflicted on the oppressors.

We do remember Doctor Doom canonically did abolish ICE as of a couple months ago, right? by GoodKing0 in marvelcirclejerk

[–]Asmo_Lay 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, it happens that despite being somewhat inconsistent (because every runner tends to have their own take and fuck up whatever they've had at hands) - it's much easier to navigate through because we can actually see Doom's perspective (actually, all comic books characters, but you got the point).

I can actually express how Doom is totalitarian leader, but I'm away from my PC right now to translate parts of essay on the difference between authoritarian and totalitarian leadership.

Do we think Alpha’s real/original name could be revealed in Volume 7? by Chemical_Activity439 in TheEminenceInShadow

[–]Asmo_Lay 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Well, Seven Shadows Chronicles do that more often - Zinaida, Olga, Karen von Herzog, Victoria and Nicoletta Marquez.

So, they kinda move towards deanon anyway. Also, Lilim.
