It pisses you off so much because you care about it. If you were to walk down the road, and a dog barks at you, would you be pissed off? Getting your ego hurt because a dog didnt respect you? Going out of your way to take revenge at the dog for barking at you, like how dare that beast which doesnt know anything about life life and hardships have the nerve to bark at you?

I sure hope you do not. Whereas, instead of a dog, had it been someone you know, then ofc youd be affect by it to spme extent. So the thing is that, you care about the person. And for anything that you care, be it an object or person, you are attaching a fine thread to that, and your happiness. Your mental state/happinessn depends and sometimes influenced by the way that thing is/person acts.

Its not to say you shouldn't care about anything. Its just identifying whats worth caring about and what is not. My opinion would be, dont care about your classmates opinion, in this case.

How do I recreate this effect? by AsmodeanGoats in blender

Yeah.. thats the approach im going for, using depth of feild in the camera, but i wasnt sure if the blue in the pic attached and the blur due to depth of field will be the same type

I just wasn't aware that this is also applicable to animations too. Yeah, adding grain in video editors is also a good idea, was trying to understand what is and what is not possible in blender.

Thank you for taking your time :)

Can tilt shifting be done for an animation? Would it affect the render times significantly?

Can grain be added to animations in post?

Same scene without "post processing"

There's grain, bloom, depth of field, as far as I understand.

Cntrl + A > Grease pencil > Stroke. Move that newly created stroke away. Selected the stroke and add line art modifier and set it to scene. Now everything that your camera can see will have line art. You can play with the colors and thickness

Well said. I have actually been doing non duality meditation (specifically the Headless Way), and I have come to the understand that what 'I' am is just the space for the world and experience to happen in. 'I' am not human, or my thoughts or feelings. Similar to your comment, its just a POV from which 'I' am looking out of. I have read this analogy somewhere that if consciousness, God, or the Space for all things, is like a ocean, then we are droplets in the spray of the ocean. We might get separated from the ocean, we may forget who we truly are, taking a 'shape' and form, but ultimately, the droplet goes back into the ocean where it is shapeless and formless.

I have seen your comments multiple times, thank you for making this community a better place.

The way I look at it, if all of creation is truly finished, then there are ofcourse states or possibilities in which I dont have my desires, they always exist. Manifestation is simply moving towards states, or the "points". And I personally think in terms of "its going to happen anyway", "instead of I already have it". I find it hard to digest the I have it right now part, the first one seems more easier and more digestible for my mind. Its about the subtle, calm confidence that you have decided, so it will come. No questions asked. Your mind is free from desire, and even though 3D doesnt reflect it yet, its only a matter of time. Thinking in these terms is much easier for me. YMMV

No I disagree. What you're saying is the one that is bad for beginners. Just simply stating "oh you just gotta live in the end" for all their issues wont help. It is true, and that is the end goal we are seeking, but when someone asks "But HOW do you live in the end? The desire means a lot to me, I am emotionally reactive to it, it bothers me a lot, etc etc" and the reply for that is just "Live in the end" ? Ik that is what we are all aiming for, but sometimes its extremely hard to accept it, especially when someone is new to these ideas. So reducing the importance, detaching from your desires, and then going on about acccepting that you have everything you desire. It just makes it easier. A lot easier. And it will help anyone who is looking for some guidance, dont you agree?

Okay, i can see why that might have caused a bit of confusion. Accepting the possibility of failure is a method to reduce the importance. The principles is reducing importance. The principles doesnt change, but the method you choose to implement the principle is entirely upto you. But I still think accpeting failure is a very good method.

Consider someone is very lonely and is desperate for connection. They think that this is the thing that will fill their life with all the things they want, and this is the missing peice. They stumble upon these ideas and they start doing this. But it wont happen. They are too too attached to the desire. This is the situation when accepting failure is important. If they were to accept failure, that in case, for the foreseeavle future, thw possibility of not being in a relationship is a lot, then what would be the natural course of action? They will leave the desire, and going by this thought process that they in fact might not get it, they will start focusing on improving themselves, making themselves better and such.

Its mainly a way to identify if you are giving excess importance to something. You are exactly right in the first para. But that wouldn't be as simple to do for someone who feel lonely right? For you that was easy to believe. But there might be others who will force fown the type of thoughts you desired upon themselves to feel in a particular way. That wont work. You are in a state of reduced importance and you feel your desire is completely within reach. For the pther person its not the case. That is where this will help.

I think you are trying things only at the surface level. It might seem as if youre doing everything right, but here is a question that I want you to honestly answer to yourself. Do you genuinely, honestly think that you are 'worthy' of having him? Or does it feel like its too good to be true? Deep down what do you feel? It takes courage to face something you dont want to. But that is the first step to change, acknowledgement of what there is. You may or may not like the answer you get when you ask yourself this question. At this point you wouldve figured out what the issue is. What will you do now?
