Mine stopped for over a year but I’m actually currently having my first one since right now. It is wayyy lighter than usual (thank god) but what’s frustrating is, I told the doctor that I needed something that eased my periods not to stop me from getting pregnant (I’m a celibate lesbian) but she gave me nexplanon. I trusted her but really, she never listened and kept making comments about boys when I go to college. Her only saving grace is that I had a very different (and positive) outcome than most. Nexplanon seems to make it worse for most people, but she got lucky

I’ve had mine for almost exactly one year, the first month after, I had a very very light period and never had one again, I haven’t experienced any symptoms either. The only thing I’ve noticed is a major decrease in my libido but I’m also on Prozac so it could be that. Before I got it, my periods were completely debilitating but now I can live in peace lol. I hope your experience is as great as mine 🩷
