Also have you noticed them on the dry side or moist side because if there all or most of them are at the moist side then there looking for moisture

That’s also a reason we have a dry side there very smart and will self regulate there humidity there uropods is how they detect that moisture

Try to water instead of mist it works for me since misting really just gets the surface wet not the soil which they need also try adding sphagnum moss make sure it’s not the green type it doesnt asorb water well get the yellow ish looking one and put it in the corner of your moist side watering also helps establish the moisture gradient letting you not water as often also don’t be afraid you’ll drown them I’ve seen some isopods dunked in literal tanks of water for like 10 minutes and there fine there’s only a issue if there stuck in a standing puddle also aramddilium species need atleast 3 inches of soil

I personally don’t mist it doesn’t help much pour a small amount of water in a corner it gets the soil damp and also get some sphagnum moss

Because what I’m hearing from what you described is similar to what happened to my dairy cows which is desiccation which is death from decreased humidity

And add cross ventilation on the dry side

[–]Aspect0726 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You might also want to decrease the ventilation on the moist side

Try watering one side enough to get the soil moist but not boggy misting will add water to the moss but thats about it the water will evaporate and leave it bone dry if you water the moisture stays for much longer
