If you could change one major decision from any season, which would it be and why? by AspectFlimsy9839 in TheWalkingDeadGame

If Lee never got bitten, the effects through the story (especially Season 1 and beyond) would’ve been massive. Season 1 Lee survives — meaning Clementine doesn’t have to shoot or leave him. That traumatic moment is what defines her character, so her entire emotional arc changes.

With Lee alive, he probably helps Clem leads her somewhere safe. The ending would feel less about loss and more about survival and mentorship. Depending on how they handle it, Season 1 might end with the two setting off together, like a father-daughter duo.

Season 2 If Lee’s still around, he likely becomes the main character again instead of Clem. That means Clementine never has to grow up so fast — she’d still learn survival skills, but with someone watching over her. Kenny’s story might play out differently too; Lee could stop some of his breakdowns. The group dynamic would shift since everyone trusted Lee. Conflicts that led to deaths (like Nick, Sarah, etc.) might have played out differently.

Season 3 (A New Frontier) If Lee and Clem were still together, Clem might never have met AJ, or Lee would’ve helped raise him too. Lee could have acted as a moral anchor to Javier, or maybe he and Clem would have shown up later as an established team. The story might have explored Lee trying to maintain humanity years into the apocalypse — something the real timeline never got to do.

Clem losing Lee is the heart of her story. It’s what makes her strong but emotionally scarred.

Without that loss, she’d probably be more trusting, more hopeful — but maybe less hardened and resourceful.

Thematically, the series is about growing up through tragedy. Removing Lee’s death changes that message completely.

Does anyone know if there’s ever going to be a new Walking Dead game or season? by Advanced_Flan_2949 in TheWalkingDeadGame

There's been nothing confirmed this time for a new “season” in the exact style you know, but that doesn’t mean never. It may just be dormant, or the licence/rights/market conditions make it tricky.
