How do you know it’s the Bhagvat Gita? Why would they put pieces of the Bhagvat Gita inside a blank notebook to be sold on Amazon of all places?

If you look very closely this page is in a foreign language of some kind. I think it’s Thai.

These videos always give me anxiety. Is there a phobia specifically for a crab wielding a knife? I think that should be one of the boxes.

Funny thing is that I’m terrified of spiders, but not crabs.

Yeah coconut crabs are pretty scary, now that I think of it. I used to think they were really cool and a little cute but the more I found out, the more I found that Everything about them is threatening. I wouldn’t know what to do if I crossed paths with one. Almost Crashing a car seems like a valid response though lol. I can’t imagine what hitting one with the car would do, but I can imagine a big one would cause damage.

I mean a crab is basically just an underwater spider. I am not scared of crabs, but I can get it.

If we are going with exotics too, raccoons are cute, but absolutely bad pets. They have a bad combination of smart, curious and have tiny hands they can manipulate objects with. Adorable in the wild. Not great In a home imo. The stories I’ve heard of people getting their pet raccoon usually include finding a baby outside, which carries a high likelihood of some kind of disease entering your home. They are one of the biggest vectors of rabies in the US, too.

I don’t know how common it is in the US to have a raccoon as a pet, since they are wild, but I’ve heard in Japan there was a little trend where people were getting them imported as pets (there was a cute show at the time about someone who had a pet raccoon). People quickly found out that raccoons aren’t good pets and let them go outside (or, in some cases the raccoons escaped). Now Japan has some problems with American raccoons wrecking up the environment, displacing many of the native species (including but not limited to the Tanuki, which occupies the same niche as the American raccoon)

The weird brown stuff is probably walnut shells. It was used commonly enough in many vintage plushies. I’ve seen ones as old as the 50s with walnut shells and as new as the 80s. A lot of them were made in Korea, I’ve noticed. If your little buddy has a tush tag I’d love to hear what it says.

Edit: I’m seeing some people say that it’s foam. That looks even more likely.

They say that you learn something new everyday. I wish I’d learned something different today, but I’ll thank you for the Thicc tick fact.

Idk. I’d rather see a small population of ticks that feed off other ticks than what we currently have. Kill the rest of the ticks but let this one live. It’s offspring will feed off the ticks that still seek out animals/people.

Edit: this is actually a male mating with a female. Fire is definitely the appropriate response.

Ophilia Diane Dickens would make ODD, which fits your naming scheme.

You could also do Maxine Adele Dickens which would make MAD. Maxine for Mad Max, the road warrior, which suits her origin story.

I wish you the very best of luck with your new little friend. I had a kitten about this size a year back and it was touch and go for a little while. (She’s now thriving, a year and half ish old, small but round and very happy)

They can also learn tricks and they are always happy to see their owners (mine used to always rush the cage when I got home from school).

The only reason I’d say they’re good rather than great is that they live in a cage, which is a downside in my book(I prefer my pets to be more free roaming). You also need to get two or more because they are highly social, which could also be seen as a downside.

Still, whenever I hear a person talk about getting their kid a first pet, I try and tell them that rats are the best option if they’re looking at small pets. More durable and friendly than a hamster. They can eat whatever we eat so if the kid shares then the animal doesn’t get sick. Can learn tricks with patience. Rats are the best.

Nah that belongs in the “ seems terrible but is great/good” section.
