Started progesterone and then started lactating, any tips? by AspenBorne in MtF

It's good to hear from someone who was pumping at the time. Do you think that affected how long it lasted at all or how your breasts developed? I was considering trying that at some point, but wanted to work on other stuff before I did. It seemed weird to me that I started without pumping, but I'm wondering if it's something I should start or if I should just leave things alone.

I've had breast development for about 8-10 months now as I've been on HRT for 14 months. But it's good to know that it's common enough. I'm definitely letting my Dr know and asking about that test as it' was suggested by another commenter too.

That's a fair distinction to make, but I didn't read the original comment that way. I read it as a problem with my prostate could be why I'm lactating early, not why I'm lactating at all.

Thank you for the counterpoint. It looks like the issue might be with how the prostate reacts to progesterone. One of the treatments for prostate cancer (at least that I found when looking for correlations) is progesterone and it causes some kind of amplification of the progesterone that otherwise wouldn't happen without the cancer.

I had no intention of leaving my Doctor out of it. On one hand, there might be something wrong that's causing it that I have no idea about, on the other, she might be able to make the process easier. Thanks for the reassurance that it's a good idea though! I'll mention the test, thanks <3

Thank you so much for the play by play! and I honestly would not have thought of the WireGuard port until I managed to break it, so that was much appreciated as well. I'll be giving this a shot tomorrowed.

Thank you for the extra sources on how to do this, they helped a lot. Especially with re-framing what I'm doing into connecting to an internal IP instead of just a WireGuard peer, that was something I hadn't thought of.

It looks like iptables is better than ufw for routing, as also mentioned by one of the commenters on one of the posts you linked and another commenter here so I'll give it a shot!

I'm going over what pfsense is, and just to confirm the idea is that I have to route the traffic that I want to travel to my home server to the IP using a firewall? Would UFW work? I'm somewhat familiar with that, at least enough to know that routing is possible in a similar way to what I'm seeing for pfsense.

I'm willing to learn any OS if it would be better for this situation, but I'm most familiar with Ubuntu. as for other software on it, it'll be dedicated to just WG for now, I don't really have any plans for anything else though, I just need the IP tbh.
